  • Patent number: 8769357
Abstract: A method for evaluation of a field programmable gate array (FPGA), the method includes: configuring the FPGA to execute, in parallel, an evaluation program and an additional program; wherein an execution of the additional program is being evaluated by the evaluation program; and executing, by the FPGA the evaluation program and the additional program; wherein the executing includes receiving, by a memory controller of the FPGA, captured signals from multiple points of interest of the FPGA; and transferring, by the memory controller of the FPGA, at least a portion of the captured signals to at least one memory space of a memory block via memory channels of the FPGA.

  • Publication number: 20120265515
Abstract: Method, system, and computer program product. The method may include: receiving a model of a circuit that includes logic that is designed to receive sequence information and/or constants from input modules of the circuit. Updating the model or generating a new model that includes an interface and an initialization module. The initialization module may provide, to a hardware accelerator and during an initialization of a simulation of the circuit, the constants and/or the sequence information. The interface may interface between a simulator and a hardware accelerator that includes one or more FPGAs. Generating FPGA code of an amended logic that includes the logic and a programmable module; wherein the programmable module may receive, during the initialization of the simulation, the constants and/or the sequence information, and to provide during the simulation and to the logic, at least one out of the constants and a sequence represented by the sequence information.

  • Patent number: 7525808
Abstract: Device, system, and method of flexible hardware connectivity. For example, a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) system includes: a rigid platform having embedded therein at least one programmable logic device; at least one rigid panel having embedded therein a set of connectors; and a flexible connection to flexibly connect, at a non-straight angel, the programmable logic device to the rigid panel along a folding axis of the rigid panel and the rigid platform, wherein a density of wires of the flexible connection is greater than a density of wires entering at least one of the connectors.

  • Patent number: 7359556
Abstract: A method is provided for recovering an image defined as a function of image coordinates of an image space from compressed data that is a function of transform coordinates in a transform space comprising: a) transforming the compressed data using at least one partial transform to generate a set of intermediate coefficients in a space intermediate between the transform space and said image space; b) adjusting the value of at least one intermediate coefficient and using said adjusted value to generate a set of adjusted intermediate coefficients; and c) recovering the image by transforming the set of adjusted intermediate coefficients to the image space with at least one additional partial transform.
