  • Patent number: 5967296
Abstract: A transfer conveyor having a frame assembly in which a large diameter drive roller is mounted together with tension rollers. A pair of small diameter nose bars are mounted on each end of the frame assembly, and an endless conveyor belt of fabric or plastic chain is looped around the drive roller, tension rollers, and nose bars. A quick release tension mechanism is operatively connected between the frame assembly and one of the tension rollers, whereby the belt can be removed from the rollers and nose bars without the use of any special tools. A lateral adjustment mechanism is operatively connected between the frame assembly and upper run of the endless conveyor belt, whereby the transfer belt can be maintained in alignment with two other conveyors between which the transfer conveyor is interposed, and a quick disconnect mechanism is also provided for releasing the transfer conveyor from a base support.

  • Patent number: 5782340
Abstract: A tapered side support for conveyor belts wherein tapered recesses and projections having correspondingly tapered surfaces are selectively provided on the sides of a conveyor support frame assembly and a conveyor belt. The tapered recesses and projections are slidably mounted relative to each other for supporting the conveyor belt. When used on an endless conveyor belt, the load supporting flight and return flight are supported by the tapered side support, which also facilitates the flushing and draining of the side support during the cleaning of the conveyor belt.

  • Patent number: 4862625
Abstract: A remote control operator for a game-calling device includes a push-pull cable connected at one end with the game-calling device and a trigger/pistol combination connected with the other end of the device for axially displacing the inner core member of the cable relative to the outer sheath thereof. The inner core is connected at one end with the actuator of the game calling device and at the other end with the trigger member of the displacement mechanism. The outer sheath is fixedly connected with the housing of the game-calling device at one end and at the other end with the pistol. Upon operation of the trigger, the inner core is axially displaced relative to the outer sheath, thereby to provide a push-pull operation to the acutator member of the game calling device. Upon operation of the actuator of the game-calling device, sounds are generated to simulate the prey of the hunter.

  • Patent number: 4787477
Abstract: A hunting stand for an all terrain vehicle is characterized by a collapsible frame connected with the vehicle and including front and rear pairs of legs formed of hinged upper and lower sections pivotal between folded and extended positions. A locking sleeve is slidably connected with each leg for locking the hinges when the leg sections are in the extended position. A pair of braces are releasably connected between the front and rear legs on each side of the stand to stabilize the legs when they are in the extended position. A platform is connected with the top of the frame to define a support surface. When the leg sections are in the folded position, the platform is arranged generally vertically behind the seat of the vehicle. When the leg sections are in the extended position, the platform is arranged horizontally and is spaced above the vehicle.
