  • Patent number: 8963024
Abstract: Contemplated device, assembly and methods include a sensor feed through assembly that protects and seals a set of wires. The assembly has a body, a first seal, a second seal and a cover. The wires thread through a first opening on the body through a second opening of the first seal and exit orthogonally between the first seal and the second seal. The cover tightens the entire assembly and secures the wires between the two seals. The entire unit can be coupled to other pressurized vessels under different temperatures and pressurized environments.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 8, 2011
Date of Patent: February 24, 2015
    Assignee: Jetseal, Inc.
Inventors: Steven Douglas Hudlet, Rex Reum
  • Patent number: 8408558
Abstract: An annular seal for use in sliding or translating applications is provided. An annular can comprises a metallic material formed into a ring. One or more ribs are disposed about an inner surface or an outer surface wall of the ring where the ribs provide a sliding sealing surface smaller having a reduced contact area relative to the width of the ring wall. The sliding sealing surface provides a seal against one or more sliding members. The rib-wall structure forms a circular beam providing greater structural integrity to the seal than would otherwise be possible.

  • Publication number: 20070287317
Abstract: A seal that has a body with at least two arms extending on each side of the body. The body also has a top and a bottom and there can be a stop on either the top, the bottom or both of the body. The arms can be in any suitable configuration, such as ā€œCā€, ā€œVā€, Omega or any Umega configurations. Among the many possibilities, there can be one or more stops extending on the top and bottom of the body or different numbers of stops on either the top, the bottom or both.

  • Patent number: 6386893
Abstract: A spark plug boot assembly has a boot with one end for receiving an ignition cable and another end for receiving a spark plug. A heat barrier surrounds the boot and includes an outer wall and an inner wall defining a cavity, and a thermal insulator is disposed within the cavity. Contemplated spark plug boot assemblies may further include a silicone coating between the inner wall of the heat barrier and the outer surface of the boot to reduce potential chafing of the boot.
