    Abstract: An acoustical horn suitable for use in conjunction with an acoustical driver to form a loudspeaker has a first section between its throat and a predetermined point therealong which has a first exponential flare rate, and a second section between the predetermined point and the mouth which has a second flare rate. The flare rates are chosen to afford improved frequency response over a single section exponential horn with the same length, mouth area and throat area.
