  • Patent number: 9574590
Abstract: A telescoping mast having a latch assembly includes a latch body mountable to a first tube section, a latch mechanism supported by the latch body, a toggle mechanism operatively connected to the latch mechanism, and a latch plate mountable to a second tube section. The latch mechanism includes a pawl member pivotably between an engaged position for interlocking with a corresponding recess in the latch plate to thereby restrict axial movement between the first and second tube sections, and a disengaged position allowing relative axial movement between the first and second tube sections. The toggle mechanism is movable between an over-center locked configuration corresponding to the engaged position of the latch mechanism and an unlocked configuration corresponding to the disengaged position of the latch member.

  • Patent number: 9003719
Abstract: A mast assembly including a locking actuator for locking a cradle of the mast in position. The locking actuator includes a housing having a first lock pin extending in a first direction and a movable member supported by the housing having a second lock pin extending in a second direction opposite the first, the locking actuator being slideably mounted to the cradle for sliding movement along an axis parallel to an axis of extension/retraction of the locking actuator. When the locking actuator is extended the first and second lock pins are inserted into respective lock holes in a base member thereby locking the cradle against pivoting movement relative to the base member.

  • Publication number: 20150050070
Abstract: An automatic locking system is provided that is driven by the normal extension and retraction of the mast, reduces the inherent rotation and deflection of the mast due to clearances, and operates more smoothly and quietly than conventional locking systems. The locking system also fits reasonably within the existing footprint of a typical mechanical mast.

  • Patent number: 7032782
Abstract: A container holder assembly for removably receiving a product dispensing container having a flexible nozzle spout includes a wall-mounting back plate having a longitudinal axis and a container holder for receipt of the dispensing container hingedly attached to the back plate. The container holder has a through central bore for receipt of the dispensing container and the longitudinal axis of that bore is disposed at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the back plate so that the container, when inserted, is disposed at an angle with regard to that axis and with regard to any vertical surface supporting the back plate. The product dispensing container is inserted into the container holder in an inverted condition so that the flexible nozzle projects below the container holder whereby, when the container holder is moved toward the back plate, the nozzle will contact a portion of the back plate and be deflected to dispense product.

  • Patent number: 6877642
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing liquid from a collapsible bag has a back plate and a cover hingedly attached thereto for movement between open and closed positions. The back plate carries a bag retainer and pump support which receives the bag which, in turn, carries a collapsible dome-type pump on its front surface adjacent its bottom edge. The pump includes a transparent collapsible dome and the dispenser cover includes a push bar for collapsing the dome to expel material. The push bar also has a clear window overlying the collapsible dome when the cover is closed.

  • Patent number: 6216916
Abstract: A pump for dispensing fluid from a dispenser includes a base in fluid communication with a source of fluid carried by the dispenser and with the atmosphere. The pump includes a base attachable to the source of fluid, a flexible transparent dome attachable to the base in overlying relationship therewith and in fluid-tight relationship, and a retainer attachable to the base in partial overlying relationship with the dome to retain the dome on the base. The pump also includes valves for selectively opening and closing the pump to fluid communication with the source of fluid and the ambient atmosphere.
