    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for fabricating nanofibrous articles is disclosed. The method may include providing a double-walled nozzle with an inner tube coaxially disposed within an outer tube. In addition, the double-walled nozzle is secured in front of a collector and an electrical field is applied between a tip of the double-walled nozzle and the collector. The method further includes preparing a spinning solution by dissolving a polymer in a solvent, mixing a vapor stream of the solvent with a stream of a pressurized gas with a predetermined ratio to obtain a pressurized solvent/gas stream feeding the spinning solution through the inner tube of the double-walled nozzle, and concurrently feeding the pressurized solvent/gas stream through the outer tube of the double-walled nozzle. The spinning solution and the pressurized solvent/gas stream may concurrently be discharged from the double-walled nozzle and drawn toward the collector being collected as nanofibrous articles on the collector.

    Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide an electro spun wound dressing comprising three nano fibrous layers and a method of synthesizing the same. The outer polymeric layer acts as a support layer for the other two layers and is hydrophilic in nature. The middle layer comprises a genipin cross linked reservoir layer loaded with a herbal extract of Melilotus officinalis and is hydrophobic or hydrophilic in nature. The second layer is cross-linked to control a release of the Melilotus officinalis extract in an aqueous environment. The third layer is a wound contacting inner layer comprising a non-cross-linked chitosan based nanofibrous layer that is hydrophilic in nature. Various additives are provided to enhance the mechanical or the chemical properties of the wound dressing and to control a release profile of the herbal extract.

    Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide a method of synthesizing a multi-mode cancer targeted nanoparticles. The method comprises the steps of preparing a plurality of nanoparticles and covalently conjugating monoclonal antibodies on surface of the prepared plurality of nanoparticles. The plurality of nanoparticles consists of a protein and a drug. The protein is Human Serum Albumin protein (HSA) and the drug is methotrexate. The monoclonal antibodies are anti-MUC1 nanobodies. According to an embodiment herein, a multi-mode cancer targeted nanoparticles comprising a plurality of cross linked nanoparticles of protein and drug molecules and covalently linked molecules of monoclonal antibodies. The molecules of monoclonal antibodies are linked on a surface of the plurality of cross linked nanoparticles.
