  • Patent number: 11903896
Abstract: An exosuit includes a first structure including a series of link elements joined together by joints. The series of link elements extends along a length of the first structure. The joints are configured to flex such that, when the exosuit is worn by a user, the first structure at least partially conforms to a shape of the user's anatomy at a first side of the first structure that extends along the length. The joints restrict flexing that would deform a second side of the first structure extending along the length of the first structure. The exosuit includes a second structure and an actuator coupled to the first structure and the second structure. The actuator causes movement of the first structure relative to the second structure. The exosuit includes an attachment portion to attach the exosuit to the user with the first side of the first structure facing toward the user.

  • Patent number: 11642081
Abstract: In general, innovative aspects of the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in an electrode headset and methods of using an electrode headset. An exemplary electrode headset includes a head covering, an electrode assembly, and a plurality of electrodes. The head covering has a plurality of holes and the electrode assembly includes a plurality of first connectors arranged to align with the plurality of holes of the head covering. Each electrode has a second connector configured to releasably mate with one of the first connectors of the electrode assembly through one of the plurality of holes of the head covering.

  • Publication number: 20220043940
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for creating exosuit interfaces using 3D printing. One of the methods includes receiving a three-dimensional data model of one or more areas of a person's body; determining exosuit position data that identifies a portion of the three-dimensional data model for which an exosuit model will be generated; determining an actuator housing location to integrate an actuator housing in a component of the exosuit model, the actuator housing location being determined to align a first movement path for an actuator received in the actuator housing with a second movement path for the person's body; and generating at least a portion of an exosuit model that includes the component having (i) a region shaped to correspond to a contour of the person's body and (ii) an actuator housing at the actuator housing location.

  • Patent number: 11238188
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for generating personalized exosuits. In some implementations, sensor data indicating a three-dimensional shape of stretchable template garment while the template garment is worn by a person and has been stretched to align with the person's anatomy is obtained. The template garment can include indicators corresponding to positions for components of an exosuit, and can correspond to an exosuit design. The sensor data is analyzed to determine locations of the indicators of the template garment. A personalized exosuit design is generated for the person by adjusting a computer model for the exosuit design to locate components of the exosuit at regions corresponding to the identified locations of the indicators of the template garment. The personalized exosuit design is provided to one or more manufacturing devices.
