Abstract: A device for displacing the pressure caused at the point of contact of the clip of a clip-on earring comprises a strip of pliant material having a non-adhesive outer surface. The device is long enough to wrap around the bottom of the earlobe and is secured to the earlobe by either a mild adhesive, or the earring clip itself. It is wide enough to displace the pressure of the clip. The pliant material comprises an added built up substance, creating a safety shelf for the clip-on earring to rest upon, preventing lateral movement. The device is wide enough for periodic adjustment of the earring for maximum comfort throughout the day, but not to cause unwanted attention to the device.
