Abstract: The present disclosure relates to solid forms and salts, crystalline and otherwise, of (E)-2-[[3-(3-methoxy-4-propargyloxy)phenyl)-1-oxo-2-propenyl]amino]benzoic acid and pharmaceutical compositions comprising same. The use of such solid forms, salts, and pharmaceutical compositions, for treating, preventing, or ameliorating diseases or conditions associated with fibrosis, inflammation and/or proliferation are disclosed.

Abstract: A macromolecule comprising a dendrimer having surface amino groups to which at least one platinum-containing moiety is attached is provided. The macromolecule may have a plurality of platinum-containing moieties attached to the surface amino groups. Alternatively, the macromolecule may comprise a dendrimer having surface amino groups to which at least two different moieties are attached, a first moiety being a platinum-containing moiety and the second moiety being a pharmacokinetic modifying agent or targeting agent. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising the macromolecules and uses of the macromolecules for treating or suppressing the growth of a cancer is also described.

Abstract: A system and method of using a computer and computer program for rapid tenant screening using a personality assessment. The personality assessment measures tenant characteristics then weights those characteristics to predict tenant behaviors of interest to landlords. The tenant is invited to participate in a personality assessment. The computer software and processor generates an assessment report for the landlord indicating the strengths and weaknesses of the tenant's profile. The landlord uses that profile as selection criteria affecting acceptance decision.

Abstract: Provided is a scheme for implementing flexible control of subject authorizations (i.e. the authorizations which users or processes have) to perform operations in relation to computer resources. The methods, computer systems and authorization facilities which are provided by the invention enhance the security provisions of operating systems which have only very limited authorization facilities, by mapping the available operating system permissions to specified resource authorities for each of a set of aspects or characteristics of a computer system resource. Thus, the standard operating system permissions (e.g. read, write, execute) can have different meanings for different resource aspects, and an individual subject can have separate authorization levels set for the different resource aspects. The mappings between authorities and the available permissions may be different for different types of resources.

Abstract: The Data communication systems and methods in which information for routing of messages between nodes of a communications network is provided by a directory service (such as the DCE directory service), accessible from all network nodes. The provision of such information by the directory service removes the requirement for routing tables to be set up and maintained at each of the network nodes, whose maintenance can involve considerable network traffic in dynamically changing networks or problems of inconsistent data being held at different nodes.
