    Abstract: An energy storage system and a switching power supply thereof are provided in the present disclosure. An alternating current AC input terminal of the switching power supply is connected to an AC power source via a protection fuse unit. A direct current DC input terminal of the switching power supply is connected to an energy storage unit in the energy storage system via a protection fuse unit. An output terminal of the switching power supply is connected to a master control unit in the energy storage system and an additional load in the energy storage system. Therefore, the switching power supply can receive electric energy from at least one of the energy storage unit and the AC power source, and supply power to the master control unit and the additional load in the energy storage system.

    Abstract: A battery cluster and an energy storage system are provided. The battery cluster includes multiple battery modules, all of the multiple battery modules are arranged in even rows, and each battery module is connected in series with an adjacent battery module one by one, to form a ring connection. Such that the length of a cable connecting a positive electrode and a negative electrode of a battery cluster to a switch box is less than a preset value. In the present disclosure, each battery module in the battery cluster is connected in series with an adjacent battery module one by one, such that a ring connection is formed, thereby reducing the cost of connecting cables and the total cost of the energy storage system.

Each battery pack is connected to a corresponding first-stage fuse unit, a direct-current side of a power conversion device is arranged with a third-stage fuse unit, and at least one second-stage fuse unit is arranged between multiple battery packs and the power conversion device. In a case that a short circuit fault occurs at a position on the direct-current side of the power conversion device, only a fuse unit at a stage preceding the position and a fuse unit at a stage following the position are broken, thereby avoiding a problem of a high maintenance cost in the conventional technology due to that all fuses are broken.
