Abstract: A medical device deployment tracking and reporting system for medical device usage and anomalies provides a coordinated and centralized approach to prompt identification and dissemination about adverse events resulting from deployed medical devices. Known conditions such as defects, recalls, and expirations can be made available prior to further usage of similar or related devices, and occurrences of new anomalies and possible adverse events can be reported to ensure timely dissemination to avert subsequent use of similar devices.
