Abstract: The invention consists of cover (20) for covering vehicle (40) used to transport people and a releasable connecting system which releasably connects cover (20) to vehicle (40) outside of vehicle (40). Cover (20) is a flexible sheet that is sized and shaped to cover the exterior surfaces of the passenger compartment (41) of vehicle (40). The opaque and reflective qualities of cover (20) pervent compartment (41) from getting uncomfortably hot or damaged from exposure to summer sun. Use of cover (20) during winter shields the vehicle's windows from ice and snow. Cover (20) and connecting system also serve to deter and resist entry of unauthorized persons into vehicle (40). The first typical embodiment of the connecting system includes arm (31), fastener (32), and anchor (33). Arm (31) is an elongated member with one end joined to cover (20) and the other end releasably connected by fastener (32) to anchor (33). Fastener (32) is accessible from outside vehicle (40).
