Patent number: 10599313Abstract: A system and user interface capable of effectively manipulating high volumes of data is provided. The system and/or user interface is specially-configured to aggregate large data volumes and translate the large data volumes into summary information associated with navigable categorizations (e.g., categorizations linked to selectable visualizations in the user interface) that enable dynamic selection and visualization of portions of the large data volumes. In one particular example, the system and/or user interface is adapted to generate selectable panels having a plurality of build or editing tools displayed coextensive with portions of the large volumes of data. Such panels may be particularly useful for generating a placement (e.g., an advertisement) while reviewing or managing large amounts of information, such as ad placement and performance information for hundreds or thousands or advertisements.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2016Date of Patent: March 24, 2020Assignee: Nanigans, Inc.Inventors: Ric Calvillo, Claude Denton, Joshua Allen Breckman, Per Anders Sandell, Derek J. Yimoyines, Amit Deepak Adur, Christopher Connors, Jonathan Palmer

Patent number: 10410258Abstract: According to various aspects of the present invention, a user interface capable of effectively manipulating high volumes of data is provided. The system and/or user interface is specially configured to aggregate large data volumes and translate the large data volumes into summary information and incorporate navigable categorizations that enable dynamic selection and visualization of portions of the large data volumes. Such interfaces may be particularly useful for managing large amounts of information, such as ad placement and performance information that is generated within an advertising network associated with ad campaigns. Moreover the integration of such summary menus in detailed visualizations improves information access, limits rendering operations by the system, and enables more efficient retrieval and visualization of information. In some examples, the contextual views limit errors in data entry, for example, by providing contextual visualization for subsequent functions.Type: GrantFiled: May 27, 2016Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: Nanigans, Inc.Inventors: Claude Denton, Ric Calvillo, Joshua Allen Breckman, Travis Hansen, Jonathan Palmer, George Plesko, Keith Wright

Publication number: 20180005274Abstract: A system is provided for ingesting existing advertising networks and/or advertising campaigns to enable centralized and consistent control. Various embodiments, are specially configured to enable users to capture the existing placement information (e.g., user interface design elements, execution rules, attribution information, etc.) and incorporate the existing ads or placements into build templates that facilitate management and/or modification of the placements by build group.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 14, 2017Publication date: January 4, 2018Applicant: Nanigans, Inc.Inventors: Ric Calvillo, Claude Denton, Joshua Allen Breckman, Jonathan Palmer

Patent number: 8024426Abstract: Described are computer-based methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, for non-disruptive data path modification using target mobility. A management server is in communication with a switching fabric. The switching fabric is in communication with a host and a data storage element. The management server creates a takeover target based on a primary target, where the primary target is part of a virtual data path between the host and the data storage. The switching fabric, through the direction of the server, modifies metadata associated with the virtual data path to expose the takeover target so that the takeover target becomes part of the virtual data path. The management server unexposes the primary target so that the primary target is no longer part of the virtual data path. The delay between exposing the takeover target and unexposing the primary target is sufficiently small to prevent an error condition from occurring at the host.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 2008Date of Patent: September 20, 2011Assignee: Texas Memory Systems, Inc.Inventors: Dmitry Trikoz, Tom Middleton, Robert Mulcahy, Ric Calvillo, Jr., Nicos Vekiarides
