  • Publication number: 20230003407
Abstract: In some examples, a device includes an analog display configured to indicate a current temperature and one or more temperature set Additionally, the device includes processing circuitry is configured to control a set of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to emit one or more optical beams to reflect off of a projection ring onto the analog display. The one or more optical beams are a first color if the current temperature is lower than a set point temperature of the one or more set point temperatures. The one or more optical beams are a second color if the current temperature is greater than the set point temperature of the one or more set point temperatures.

  • Patent number: 7496981
Abstract: The mattress (1) is made of a block of flexible polyurethane foam (4) with a density of 40 Kg/m3 or of any other density, said block being firstly cut with a cut programmable automatic machine, by the main side and then turned at a 90° degree angle by its small side. A certain amount of springs (5) is thereby formed depending on each type of mattress (1). The amount of spirals (5.1) of every spring (5) depends on the position of each spring in the mattress (1) with the purpose of varying the flexibility thereof so that the mattress (1) can perfectly adapt to the contour to of every user or so that the flexibility can remain constant throughout the entire mattress. Multiple variations can be realized while the height of the mattress remains the same (less spirals having the same spiral thickness and more base and uncut, etc.; the width of a spiral can be changed, as well as the number of spirals, the inclination of the axis of the spirals, the total height of an area-budge or cavity, etc.

  • Publication number: 20080045523
Abstract: The invention relates to the synthesis of polyoxygenated nitrogen systems, comprising reactions between enamines of 1,3-dioxan-5-ones and nitroolefins. More specifically, the invention relates to the reaction between enamines having formula II which are derived from 1,3-dioxan-5-ones I and nitroolefins having formula III. In this way, novel polyoxygenated nitrogen systems are generated having formula IV and V, which, as they are or following simple transformations, constitute synthetic intermediates and/or analogues of different systems of proven biological/pharmacological interest, such as certain antibiotics, or tetrodotoxin, pancratistatin or the analogues thereof. The aforementioned reactions involve the use of enamines II in Michael-type addition reactions and in direct annealing processes with double acceptor systems at relative positions 1, 3. Said N acceptors include nitroolefins III, wherein R?CHO (alphanitroenals).

  • Publication number: 20070290111
Abstract: An improved wire clip 10 to better keep hung garments 22 separated when suspending onto clotheslines 30. Also useful for hanging banners 22, the clip 10 offers a non-symmetrically centered axis 20 which is perpendicular to the line 30. A friction body 14 provides a pressure means by a fulcrum locus 14-A opposing a counter locus 14-B; a catch tail 16 is provided for suspending the garment 22. The weight of the suspended garment 22 leverages the body 14 at the non-symmetrical axis 20 which disposes the fulcrum 14-A, and opposes the counter 14-B to create increased pressure onto the line 30.

Abstract: A magnet (72) for triggering a compressive friction check (22) to disengage (22A) and engage (22B) certain rods (16), such as those for door closers (10) which are utilized for controlling linear biasing forces (11A) and (11B) for objects such as doors (62). Such devices (10) normally provide a rod (16) from within a body (12), disposing a biasing means (11) compliant to the object (62). The check tab (22) normally comprises an aperture (26) opposing compressive friction points (28) for applying to the tensile rod (16), which are contained within a structure (34) attached to a trigger (38) for levering the check (22) onto the extended rod (16B). The magnet (72) optionally cause the check (22) to operate the basic, immediate, progressive, and limited tab set options, thus creating a true feather touch check (22) for door closers (10).
