  • Publication number: 20240147316
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for automatically detecting wireless neighbor relationships within a wireless network. While a user device is using a first cell for communications, the user device detects and provides a physical cell identifier for a second cell to a computing device, e.g., the first cell or server. The computing device queries a relationship table of the first cell for a known handover relationship between the first cell and the second cell. If the table does not include the known handover relationship, the computing device instructs the user device to obtain a cell global identifier of the second cell. The computing device then adds a new handover relationship between the first cell and the second cell to the relationship table using the cell global identifier of the second cell. Communications for the user device can be automatically handed over from the first cell to the second cell.

  • Publication number: 20230398482
Abstract: Techniques for filtration systems are disclosed. In an example, a filtration system interrogates, via a radio-frequency identification (RFID) access device, a RFID tag that is positioned on a filter module that is positioned in the filtration system. In response to interrogating the RFID tag, the filtration accesses, an operational parameter stored on the RFID tag and associated with the filter module. The filtration adjusts an operational setting of the filtration system based on the operational parameter. The filtration system operates the filtration system based on the adjusted operational setting.

  • Patent number: 11543300
Abstract: The disclosure is directed to techniques for a thermostat to determine the air temperature of a room based on measurements of temperatures sensors located inside a housing of the thermostat. Because the thermostat for an evaporative cooler operates at line voltage and controls current flowing to the evaporative cooler, the magnitude of current flowing through the thermostat may vary from nearly zero, when the thermostat is in the powered-off state, to a current on the order of several amps. The variation in current causes a variation in temperature inside the housing of the thermostat. The techniques of this disclosure compensate for changes the internal housing temperature caused by changes in operating mode. The compensation allows the temperature sensors inside the thermostat housing to determine the air temperature of the room in which the thermostat is located, without regard for the operating mode of the evaporative cooler system.

  • Patent number: 11147653
Abstract: A self-ligating orthodontic bracket has a bonding base adapted for attachment to the crown of a tooth. A body member is attached to the front surface of the base and extends forwardly to a front face. The base defines a torque angle with respect to the front face of the body. Gingival and occlusal projections extend forwardly from the body member. The projections have archwire slot surfaces which, together with a portion of the body member's front face, define an archwire slot. First and second channels defined in the projections are coplanar and are disposed at an angle to the front face of the body member that is substantially equal to the torque angle. A door is disposed in one of the first and second channels. The door is movable between an open position and a closed position to selectably provide or prevent access to and from the archwire slot.
