  • Patent number: 8707891
Abstract: A spreading head particularly for spreading one or more adhesives or mixtures of adhesives, of the hot-melt or cold type, comprising a body which has two or more ducts, which are all separate or of which two or more converge, each duct being connected to one or more feed channels for conveying the one or more adhesives or mixtures of adhesives to one or more extrusion chambers formed on the upper surface of the body; an abutment element for the one or more adhesives or mixtures of adhesives which exit from the one or more mixing chambers is associable in an upper region with the body.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 8, 2007
Date of Patent: April 29, 2014
    Assignee: Hip-Mitsu S.R.L.

  • Patent number: 8109229
Abstract: A spreading head particularly for spreading one or more adhesives or mixtures of adhesives, of the hot-melt or cold type, comprising a body for conveying the one or more adhesives to an extrusion tool; the body has two or more ducts, which are all separate or of which two or more converge, and the tool has one or more first extrusion channels and/or one or more mixing chambers which are connected to one or more second extrusion channels, the first and/or second extrusion channels being optionally mutually superimposed and/or laterally adjacent.

  • Patent number: 6983860
Abstract: A thermoplastic material spreading head including: a valve having a movable needle and a needle cup; a first duct for feeding fluid thermoplastic material to the valve; a second duct, connected in fluid communication to cup; the needle being movable in the body between an open position allowing passage of thermoplastic material flow from the first duct to the second duct, and a closed position in which the needle interferes with the cup to arrest the thermoplastic material flow; an actuating and detecting intake for selective positioning of the needle, for injection in the intake of a pressurized actuation fluid adapted to move the needle at least to the open position; and a pressure sensor arranged on the intake to sense the pressure of the pressurized actuation fluid and provide a confirmation of the position of the needle at least in the open condition.
