    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for overlaying interactive and bidirectional messages on a communications device via a communications signal. The system and related methods allow for such communications between remote locations where one of the locations has a communications device, such as a television. Data from a sensor, such as a medical device, or input from a user, such as a patient, may be communicated between the locations. The overlaid messages may be displayed on the communications device display, such as a television or computer.
