Abstract: A system and method providing cross-ontology multi-master replication is described. In a first embodiment a method for cross-ontology multi-master replication comprising the steps of: storing a database change comprising a property value, the property value having an exporting site property type as defined in an exporting site ontology for an exporting site; using an ontology map to map the exporting site property type to an importing site property type defined by an importing site ontology for an importing site; transforming the property value to an intermediate property value based on the importing site property type; transforming the intermediate property value to a first round-trip value based on the exporting site property type; and determining whether to export the database change to the importing site based at least in part on a comparison between the property value and the first round-trip value.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating the sorting of assets to sort locations. In various embodiments, a sort employee scans an indicia using a user device, which stores asset data corresponding to the stored asset. As the sort employee nears a sort location (e.g., a delivery vehicle) with the asset and the user device, the user device automatically communicates wirelessly with a sort location receiver to associate the asset with data indicative of the sort location where the user deposits the asset. In various embodiments, a device may determine whether the user device is proximate the appropriate sort location for the item, and may generate an alert upon a determination that the user device is proximate an incorrect sort location.

Abstract: Systems, devices, media, and methods are presented for dynamic presentation and management of messages within a graphical user interface by presenting content icons, monitoring consumption status of the presented content represented by the content icons, transferring a content item from a first set of content to a second set of content, and causing presentation of the content item as part of the second set of content.

Abstract: A system includes a communication module that receives a request to post content to an event gallery associated with an event. The request in turn includes geo-location data for a device sending the content, and identification data identifying the device or a user of the device. The system further has an event gallery module to perform a first authorization operation that includes determining that the geo-location data corresponds to a geo-location fence associated with an event. The event gallery module also performs a second authorization operation that includes using the identification data to verify an attribute of the user. Finally, based on the first and second authorization operations, the event gallery module may selectively authorize the device to post the content to the event gallery.

Abstract: A backlight includes a substrate, a plurality of light sources, a reflective layer, a first diffuser plate, a second diffuser plate, and a color conversion layer. The plurality of light sources are proximate the substrate. The reflective layer is proximate the substrate. The first diffuser plate is over the plurality of light sources. The color conversion layer is between the first diffuser plate and the second diffuser plate.

Abstract: A tooling assembly for a lathe machine includes a tool platform configured to be mounted on the lathe machine, a milling tool holder fixedly secured to the tool platform and workable to releasably secure a thread milling tool therein, and a milling tool drive. The milling tool drive is operatively connected to the milling tool holder and operable to rotate the milling tool holder independently of a work holder to mill threads on the workpiece when a pipe thread milling tool is secured in the milling tool holder. Computer numerical control threading lathes and methods of milling threads in tubular workpieces are also described.

Abstract: Display devices are disclosed including tiled components. The tiled components can include any one or more of tiled light board assemblies, tiled diffusers, and tiles patterned light guides. In some embodiments, entire backlight units may be tiled.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer system and a computer program product reduce bandwidth requirements of a virtual collaboration session. The method includes capturing session data from a virtual collaboration session. The session data is selected from a group consisting of video data, audio data, an image of a screen of a connected device and text data. The method also includes connecting to a live blog platform. The method further includes transmitting a text transcription of the virtual collaboration session to the live blog platform. The text transcription is generated by scanning the audio data using a speech-to-text algorithm. In addition, the method includes classifying a topic in the virtual collaboration session based on importance. Lastly, the method includes transmitting a multimedia file related to the topic to the live blog platform in response to the topic being classified as important. The multimedia file is extracted from the session data.

Abstract: Millions of packages get shipped and stolen from home door steps, with mail often getting placed in wrong mailboxes and sometimes the mailman or package carrier needs to speak to someone at or from the residence. Video Smart Package Pillar was created with all of these issues of the world in mind, combining the idea of a Pillar, compartmentalized, with two compartments, a mail compartment and package compartment, and one to two doors in a rear to obtain packages that have been delivered; while leaving an original mail pull down opening for the mail being delivered.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for receiving input increasing a default predetermined window of time that the new media collection is accessible and activating the new media collection for the increased predetermined window of time and a geographic boundary size for where media content originates. The systems and methods further cause a plurality of content messages comprising media content originating in the geographical boundary size to be included in the new media collection and displayed in response to a request from a computing device to view the new media collection based on determining the request occurs within the increased predetermined window of time that the new media collection is accessible.

Abstract: The present invention discloses tissue products, specifically rolled paper towel products, such as one, two or three ply tissue products having a basis weight greater than about 35 gsm and a GMT greater than about 1,500 g/3?. The products have a three-dimensional surface, typically the air contacting surface, comprising substantially continuous machine direction (MD) oriented elements, discrete cross-machine direction (CD) oriented elements and discrete MD oriented valleys having valley sidewalls formed by the MD oriented elements and valley endwalls formed by the CD oriented elements. The discrete valleys generally have a length greater than about 10.0 mm. The CD oriented elements comprise a relatively small percentage of the tissue surface area, such as less than about 15 percent, yet the tissue products display good anti-nesting properties when spirally wound into rolls, such as a Roll Structure greater than about 1.75.

Each light source includes a size measured in a plane parallel to the substrate. Each patterned reflector is aligned with a corresponding light source and includes a thickness profile. The thickness profile includes a substantially flat section and a curved section extending from and surrounding the substantially flat section. The substantially flat section varies in thickness by no more than plus or minus 20 percent of an average thickness of the substantially flat section. The substantially flat section includes a size in a plane parallel to the substrate equal to or greater than the size of each light source.

Abstract: Systems and methods for causing display of a messaging achievement pictograph based on messaging activity are provided. In some example embodiments, a message activity communication is received by a messaging activity service from a client device, the messaging active communication causing and adjustment to a message activity score and the message activity score transgressing a first threshold activity score. Responsive to the message activity transgressing the first threshold activity score, an achievement pictograph is displayed on the client device. In some example embodiments, the pictograph may be ephemeral and removal of the pictograph may be triggered by a designated time or by the message activity score transgressing a second threshold activity score. In some example embodiments, a notification is generated that notifies a user of the display or removal from display of the achievement pictograph.

Abstract: The present disclosure is an improvement in bi-focus lenses. The disclosure relates to the use of multiple channels of LED/Lens combinations to achieve a smooth and continuous range of emitted beam angles of light in a wider range of beam angles than previously possible through only two channels of LED/Lens combinations. The resultant product will produce a continuous range of beam angles in a range exceeding 35 degrees from narrowest bean angle to widest beam angle. The lens channels selected are weighted so as to maximize the contribution of a single channel lens to the overall beam projection.

Abstract: HIPAA-compliant computer security method and system for recording, using a video camera, electronic visual personal health information of at least two individuals, including an individual under care, and preventing unauthorized access of the user to the video information. The video is compared to physical attribute information of the individuals stored in the computer system's memory, and the individuals are identified by facial matching. The user's stored caseload has authorization profile information including access to individuals under care. The identified individuals are compared to the user's caseload information, and the user is granted access to part of the video of the individual under care, the video of the other individuals is blurred, and the resulting video is transmitted to the user's caseload for viewing. Data fields of an information request are populated using formatted data from the video information.

Abstract: Method, systems, and apparatus to facilitate navigation in a known environment. Communication and tracking between a receiver device and one or more beacons are provided to identify a current position of the receiver device. A direction to a next waypoint of a current path is determined based on the identified current position and a haptic feedback system is signaled to provide continuous haptic feedback to orient a user in the identified direction.

Abstract: Glass-based substrates are described herein that may be processed by methods including applying a cover article onto a glass-based substrate, submerging the glass-based substrate in an etchant, and maintaining the submersion of the glass-based substrate in the etchant. The glass-based substrate may include a covered surface portion and an exposed surface portion. At least a portion of the covered surface portion may be in direct contact with the cover article. The covered surface portion may not be in contact with the etchant and the exposed surface portion may be in direct contact with the etchant. The etchant may contact the exposed surface portion and the cover article fora time sufficient to etch the exposed surface portion. The cover article may provide a barrier between the etchant and the covered surface portion for the entirety of the submerging.
