Abstract: A breather assembly having an outer housing, an insert in the upper portion of the housing, a porous metal disc adjacent the insert, a plurality of glass beads adjacent the disc, a spacer cup adjacent the beads and a washer acting as a plug adjacent the spacer cup. The housing has an upper closed end and a lower open end, the washer being press fitted into the open end to retain the cup, beads, disc and insert. There are two oppositely disposed openings in the housing which directly communicate to abutting converging openings in the spacer. The junction of the narrow end of the converging openings communicate with a central vertical opening, a space between the insert and the housing, a recess in the insert, another vertical opening in the insert which is spaced from the first vertical opening. The bottom end of the spaced vertical opening communicates with the porous metal disc.

Abstract: Tile roof vent for covering the opening of the ridge of an undulating tile roof. The vent includes two panels spaced from each other, each of which has a hard plastic sheet with a lower portion and an upper portion. To the underside of the lower portions are affixed an air-permeable mat and optionally a layer of foam rubber which conform to the undulating configuration of the tile roof. The lower portions of the hard plastic sheets are reinforced by stiffeners integral with the hard plastic sheet and also contain vent holes for exhausting air from the attic space.

Abstract: A high volume rotary selector valve having a modular structure is disclosed. The disclosed device operates to select one of a plurality of individual source lines of pressurized oil, gas, or other matter to divert the contents of the selected line to a predetermined destination for metering, testing, or sampling without interrupting the flow from other source lines. The modular design permits a large number of input lines to be attached to the valve without a corresponding increase in the valve's diameter or material thickness. Additionally, the modular design affords the user the ability to upgrade an existing selector valve system to increase the number of inlet ports, change the size of the inlet or outlet ports, or change the inlet or outlet port connector types.
