  • Publication number: 20100332256
Abstract: A data processing technique is provided. In one embodiment, a method includes crawling a network via a computing device to access patient data from a plurality of medical resources coupled to the network. The medical resources may include various imaging systems, computers, databases, patient monitors, and other medical devices and systems. The method may also include populating a searchable index of patient data accessed from at least a first medical resource of the plurality of medical resources, and storing the searchable index in a memory device to facilitate user-searching of the patient data via the searchable index. In one embodiment, the patient data includes either or both of DICOM data and HL7 data. Additional methods, systems, and devices are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7682079
Abstract: An integrated weight sensing system and method is disclosed for a medical imaging system. In one embodiment, the integrated weight sensing system may include a table assembly, a load cell, and a processor that are implemented in a medical imaging system. The table assembly includes a lifting mechanism used to position a patient within the medical imaging system. The load cell is mechanically coupled to the table assembly and in communication with the processor. The load cell is configured to measure and indicate the weight of the patient and the processor may be configured to adjust imaging parameters based on the weight of the patient. The table assembly may include a device in communication with the load cell and/or processor to display the weight of the patient. Additionally, the table assembly and/or the processor may include an interface for zeroing or recalibrating the load cell.

  • Publication number: 20070107918
Abstract: A folding system is provided for folding at least one wing extending from a central chassis of each of a plurality of absorbent articles formed from a continuous moving web moving in a longitudinal direction. The folding system has a wing-folding conveyor and at least one elongated, folding plow, which has an entrance end, an exit end and an inner edge that define a twist axis. The folding plow has a contoured surface having a configuration defined by a twist angle that increases along the twist axis from zero degrees near the entrance end to 180 degrees near the exit end. The wing-folding conveyor moves the central chassis along the inner edge of the folding plow and the wing slides against the contoured surface from the entrance end to the exit end, such that the wing folds around the central chassis near the inner edge.

  • Patent number: 5822195
Abstract: An interface module for an electronic system that permits signals to pass between a high frequency main circuit board area such as used for central processing units, memories, or other relatively high clock rate components and a low frequency circuit area such as used for standard peripheral circuit modules used for disk drives, video interfaces and the like. The interconnect module is positioned near an opening in a sheet metal bulkhead used as an electromagnetic interference (EMI) barrier around the main circuit area. The interface module uses a connector that is surrounded by one or more conductive shields that contain metal fingers on inboard and outboard sides to provide a ground connection between the interface module and the EMI barrier.

  • Patent number: 4319960
Abstract: A modular nuclear fuel assembly rack constructed of an array of identical cells, each cell constructed of a plurality of identical flanged plates. The unique assembly of the plates into a rigid rack provides a cellular compartment for nuclear fuel assemblies and a cavity between the cells for accepting neutron absorbing materials thus allowing a closely spaced array. The modular rack size can be easily adapted to conform with available storage space.
