  • Publication number: 20240141524
Abstract: A process and apparatus for electrolyte solution production can be provided so that a modular production can be provided. The modular electrolyte production can be provided so that the production system is mobile for being used in multiple different plants at different geographical locations that are remote from each other. Embodiments can be configured so that electrolyte production is made for a plant specific application that provides an electrolyte solution having a pre-selected concentration of at least one electrolyte for use in at least one electrolyzer of the plant. The production can be mobile so it can be provided at different sites to make the same type of solutions or different solutions specific to the needs of the plants it may support. Some embodiments can utilize an electrolyte material handling device that also modular and mobile. Other embodiments can be configured to utilize an on-site electrolyte material handling device.

  • Patent number: 11788587
Abstract: A centrifugal clutch of a transport refrigeration unit incorporating a wear limiter includes a drum, a hub, at least two friction pad assemblies, and at least one spring (e.g., leaf or coil) between each respective friction pad assembly. The wear limiter may be configured as part of the leaf spring, as part of the friction pad assemblies, and/or as a standalone component. The wear limiter is configured to prevent the radially outward facing surface of at least one friction pad assembly from engaging the internally facing surface of the drum when the centrifugal clutch is in the extended position and the friction material of at least one friction pad assembly is worn to a worn thickness. This may prevent the centrifugal clutch from engaging when the friction pad is worn.

  • Publication number: 20220327610
Abstract: The present disclosure includes methods of providing an equipment use guarantee quotation. In certain embodiments, such methods include: obtaining equipment rental information; obtaining a covered weather condition parameter corresponding to a weather condition that may occur during the rental period or during a time period preceding a rental period at a rental use location, the covered weather condition parameter being a threshold amount of a weather condition that would trigger a use guarantee for the rental equipment item during the rental period; receiving predictive weather condition information corresponding to the weather condition that may occur during the rental period or during a time period preceding the rental period at the rental location; estimating a probability of an occurrence that the weather condition will result in meeting or exceeding the covered weather condition parameter during the rental period or during a time period preceding the rental period.

  • Patent number: 11378141
Abstract: A leaf spring for a centrifugal clutch of a transport refrigeration unit, and a centrifugal clutch incorporating the leaf spring are provided. The centrifugal clutch includes a drum, a hub, at least two friction pads, and at least one leaf spring between each respective friction pad. The leaf spring includes a frame and an indicator tab. The indicator tab of the leaf spring is configured to indicate when at least one friction pad of the centrifugal clutch is in need of replacement. This indication may be in the form of an audible sound generated when the indicator tab engages the internally facing surface of the drum. The indicator tab may be configured to only be able to engage the internally facing surface of the drum when the friction material of the friction pad has a thickness suggesting it is worn.

  • Patent number: 9302105
Abstract: A surface NMES stimulation device the device has a control processor, a voltage regulator connected to a high voltage supply, a bridge of control switches, and electrodes or electrode terminals connected in the bridge to receive drive signals via the control switches. The processor directs a drive scheme for the bridge control switches in which charge build-up on a user's skin is allowed to dissipate to ground in an inter-pulse interval. An isolation capacitor isolates the high voltage supply from the electrodes, and charging of the capacitor only occurs if a switch allows it. Sensors senses supply voltage and bridge current and the processor monitors there to determine further stimulation and faults.

  • Patent number: 7900124
Abstract: The use of a multi-track format in both optical and magnetic data storage applications provides for a number of improvements to system performance including data density and data transfer rates. However, the full advantage in data density can only be achieved through the use of joint equalization and joint detection. The complexity of implementation of these functions arc addressed with a transform domain equalization architecture and a reduced complexity detection method based on a breadth first search of a time-varying trellis. The trellis results from a one dimensional representation of a two dimensional target response, obtained by arranging samples from adjacent tracks in a sequence that respects the original proximity of the samples.
