  • Patent number: 9392476
Abstract: A method and system for comparing network configuration data stored in a wireless communication network with parameters that depend on the physical configuration of the network is provided. Subscriber wireless communication devices operating in the network provide measurement data. From the measurement data, at least one first parameter is selected or derived, the first parameter depending on the physical configuration of the network. From network configuration data stored in the wireless communication network, at least one second parameter that corresponds to the at least one first parameter is selected. Any discrepancy between the values of the first and second parameters is then identified. Analysis of the discrepancies may reveal errors or omissions in the stored network configuration data, such as missing entries in the neighbors table for a cell site. Faults in the physical network may also be revealed.

  • Patent number: 9228803
Abstract: A universal tube launched munitions system has a launcher base having an array of a plurality of initiator stations, first and second cassettes each having a mounting facility operable for releasable connection to the launcher base, each of the cassettes having a plurality of barrels, the barrels of the first cassette been axially registered with the first quantity of the initiator stations, and the barrels of the second cassette been axially registered with a different second quantity of the initiator stations. The barrels of the first cassette may be axially registered with all of the initiator stations. The barrels of the second cassette may be axially registered with a subset of the initiator stations the barrels of the first cassette are axially registered with. The barrels of the first cassette may have a different diameter than the barrels of the second cassette.

  • Patent number: 8751601
Abstract: There is disclosed an improved user interface for a network, for example the Internet. If a user clicks on an incorrect hyperlink then the system, instead of merely informing the user that an error (e.g. “404 Not Found” error—meaning that the requested web page is not available) has occurred, provides the user with a list (503) of hyperlinks to alternative web pages. The alternative web pages are related to the context of the web page that was originally requested by the user (but was not available, due to the incorrect hyperlink, to the user). In a preferred embodiment (300), the system analyzes a web page (201) (i.e. the web page that contained the incorrect hyperlink) for context information and uses the context information to improve the relevance to the user of the list (503). The system may also analyze other web pages for context information.

  • Publication number: 20100068913
Abstract: A coupler for holding a socket and plug of two electrical cords together which comprises a body fabricated out of a resilient material having a central cavity with two end bores. Each of the end bores extends from an opposite side of the body into the central cavity. An longitudinal axial slit extends along the body, wherein when the body is twisted the longitudinal axial slit will open to allow the socket and plug connected together to be inserted into the central cavity of the body with each of the two electrical cords extending outwardly from each of the two end bores of the body. The socket and plug of the two electrical cords will be maintain in intimate contact with each other within the central cavity of the body.
