  • Patent number: 9829970
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system, and computer program product for automatically assigning a display as a primary display in a multi-display computer. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for configuring a primary display in a multi-display environment is provided and can include tracking eye movements of an end user interacting with a multi-display computer. A display principally viewed by the end user, can be identified based upon the eye movements amongst at least two displays of the multi-display computing environment. Thereafter, the identified display can be configured as a primary display in the multi-display computing environment in response to determining that the end user has viewed the identified display for a threshold period of time.

  • Publication number: 20170275974
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a charge tube for a perforating gun assembly used in harvesting energy in a wellbore and a retaining projection formed on an end of the charge tube. When the charge tube is inserted into a gun body, the retaining projection engages with the gun body of the perforating gun assembly to restrict movement of the charge tube with respect to the gun body when engaged with the gun body. The retaining projection can comprise a plurality of collet fingers on an end of the charge tube that engage with the gun body to longitudinally retain the charge tube. The retaining projection can comprise at least one alignment finger that limits radial movement of the charge tube with respect to the gun body. The retaining projection can comprise a plurality of centralizing bend tabs that restrict radial movement of the charge tube when inserted into the gun body.

  • Publication number: 20170210574
Abstract: A pneumatic conveying apparatus operable to transport material from a supply source to a process which requires a rate of change of feed rate far in excess of what is possible from a typical pneumatic conveying system and pipeline alone, and for a process where storage of large volumes of material directly adjacent to the process feed point is either not possible or disadvantageous. The pneumatic conveying apparatus (100; 101;102) comprises at least one conduit (11) and a compression device (8) operable to supply and transport pneumatic media through at least one conduit (11). The supply source (1) may be a feed hopper and is operable to discharge material into the pneumatic conveying system downstream of the supply source. In the pneumatic conveying system at least one vessel (9; 9A, 9B; 20) is arranged to receive material from the supply source (1) and to discharge material to at least one conduit (11).

  • Publication number: 20170175500
Abstract: In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a perforating system for perforating a subterranean formation includes a carrier gun body having a cylindrical sleeve. The perforating system also includes a charge holder disposed in the cylindrical sleeve and a plurality of charges disposed on the charge holder. The charge holder is dissolvable in at least one wellbore fluid delivered through the carrier gun body after detonation of the charges. The charges may also be dissolvable during or after detonation. In some embodiments, the carrier gun body is dissolvable wellbore fluid delivered through the carrier gun body. By including dissolvable parts, the disclosed perforating gun yields relatively lower amounts of debris in the wellbore after detonation. In addition, the dissolving portions of the perforating gun allow the remaining portions of the gun to be used to perform wellbore operations downhole without pulling the perforating gun.

  • Patent number: 9342688
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for inheriting a non-secure thread context. In the method, a first secure monitor call associated with a first non-secure thread of a non-secure environment of a processing system is received. A first secure thread is created, in response to the first secure monitor call, that inherits a first interrupt state of the first non-secure thread.

  • Patent number: 8960583
Abstract: A fixed spool fishing reel having a handle shaft connected to a handle to be rotated thereby and coupled to a bail arm drive of the wheel so that rotation of the handle shaft causes rotation of the bail arm. The handle shaft is coupled to the bail arm drive via a gear mechanism that enables the gear ratio between rotation of the handle shaft and rotation of the bail arm drive to be selectively altered. Also, a fixed spool fishing reel having a spool shaft and two gear wheels respectively on opposite sides of the spool shaft, both gear wheels being coupled to be driven by a rotary handle of the reel and both being selectable to be the one which drives a spool shaft oscillatory mechanism of the reel, the coupling between each of the said two gear wheels and the mechanism being via respective gearing arrangements to impart different respective ratios of handle rotary speed to oscillatory speed of the spool shaft.

  • Patent number: 8905345
Abstract: A fixed spool fishing reel having a spool shaft with a coaxial hollow rotor shaft rotatable thereabout. The reel is further provided with a handle shaft which extends transversely of and is offset relative to the spool shaft. First and second mutually orthogonal gears are coupled for rotation with the handle shaft, the first gear having an axis of rotation which is transverse of and offset from the spool shaft. Likewise for third and fourth gears, with the third gear being on the opposite side of the spool shaft relative to the first gear. The axis of the third gear is closer to the spool than that of the first gear. Likewise the fourth is closer than the second. The rotor shaft can be driven by the handle shaft selectively via the first or the third gear to change the gearing ratio.
