    Abstract: A computer system provides for the secure installation and operation of software. The computer system includes a platform, such as a personal computer, having a processor and the Microsoft® Windows® operating system. The computer system also includes a first drive, such as a network, DVD or CD-ROM drive, adapted for access by the processor, and a second drive, such as a hard disk, adapted for access by the processor. The second drive includes an NT File Structure logical volume. The computer system further includes an installer operatively associated with the first drive. The installer cooperates with the processor to write a Primary Data Stream file to the NT File Structure logical volume, to associate data with the Primary Data Stream file, and to write the associated data to the NT File Structure logical volume as an Alternate Data Stream file.

    Abstract: A high pressure misting fan (10) configured for injecting a fluid (F) into a generated stream of air to produce a cooling vapor impregnated airstream (V) is disclosed. The fan (10) broadly includes a rotatable propeller (12), a motor (14), a pump (16), and a nozzle assembly (18). The propeller (12) is drivingly connected to the motor (14) and generates the airstream when rotated by the motor (14). The motor (14) is drivingly connected to both the propeller (12) and to the pump (16) so that the motor (14) rotates the propeller (12) and operates the pump (16). In a preferred embodiment, the propeller (12) and the pump (16) are drivingly connected to opposite ends (32,34) of a common drive shaft (30). The pump (16) is fluidly disposed upstream from the nozzle assembly (18) and is operable to pressurize the fluid (F) flowing from the fluid source to the nozzle assembly (18).

    Abstract: A ventilation assembly (10) for venting fluid impregnated fumes and separating the fluid for collection is disclosed. The ventilation assembly (10) broadly includes a curb (12), a curb cap (14), a fan (16), and a disposable grease collection cannister (18) removably coupled to the fan (16). The fan (16) generates an airstream and separates any grease entrained in the airstream from the airstream. The separated grease is collected in the cannister (18). The entire cannister (18) can be quickly and cleanly removed, disposed of, and replaced. The cannister (18) broadly includes an open top receptacle (52) for receiving the grease, an absorbent core (54) in the receptacle (52) for absorbing and storing the grease, a funnel (56) for directing the grease into the core (54), and a lid (58) for covering the open top and removably coupling the cannister (18) to the fan (16) for removal therefrom without contacting the receptacle (52).

The leading edge of sheets to which the indicia is to be printed is precisely located by a light absorption detection or sensing mechanism which controls a sheet advance motor. The indicia printed, preferably bar code, is read by an optical bar code scanner traversing the printed code.
