Abstract: A bone mill including a base and a mill head that is removably attached to the base. A cutting disc is rotatably disposed in the mill head. When the mill head is attached to base, the cutting disc is rotated by a motor internal to the base. A plunger mounted to the mill head urges the bone against the cutting disc. The cutting disc and an impingement plate internal to the mill head shear the bone into chips. The chips are discharged from an opening in the mill head into a catch tray removably attached to the mill head.

Abstract: A piston type pumping apparatus comprises a vertically oriented cylinder having a top and a bottom with a first aperture. There are first and second passageways for liquid in the cylinder at the top and bottom respectively thereof. A piston is reciprocatingly mounted within the cylinder and has an area against which pressurized fluid acts in the direction of movement of the piston. A hollow piston rod is connected to the piston and extends below the piston and slidably through the first aperture. There is a reload chamber below the cylinder. The piston rod extends slidably into the reload chamber and has a third passageway for liquid communicating thereto. A first one-way valve is located in the third passageway. There is also a fourth passageway that extends from the reload chamber to a source of liquid to be pumped and a second one-way valve therein.

Abstract: Methods and arrangements for facilitating generation of media mixes for a program participant based at least in part on media library inventory information provided by a number of program participants. Those individuals that decide to be program participants are interested in organizing, maintaining and playing their music, based at least in part, on data derived from a population of other participants in the program. A program participant must send, and the system, receive, data representative of that program participant's media inventory. The system or program determines a relative similarity of each item from the collection of program participants as compared to each other item and from the similarity information clusters of similar items are identified. The clusters can be used to identify clusters of similar items in an individual program participant's media library and therefrom mixes of similar media items can be created.

Abstract: A vehicle including a steering system for moving a pair of wheels supported by a wheel support structure relative to a vehicle structure to achieve steering of the vehicle whilst the vehicle is travelling. The system including a pressure source for providing a supply of pressurized fluid through first and second steering valves to fluid operated first and second actuators, each of which includes an actuating member. The steering valves are operator controlled to provide the pressurized fluid, at least when the steering system is in a first operating mode, from both the first steering valve to the first actuator and from the second steering valve to the second actuator to achieve steering. When the steering system is operating in a second operating mode, only one of the first and second steering valves provides pressurized fluid from the source to a respective one of the actuators to achieve steering.

Abstract: A steering system for a vehicle comprising a steering control to effect mechanical steering of the vehicle, the steering control being mechanically connected via a mechanical steering train, to at least one steerable ground engaging wheel. A power assistor apparatus is present for power assisting the mechanical steering of the vehicle when the operator operates the steering control. The system includes a hydraulic steering actuator which is operable by an electronically controlled hydraulic steering control valve to effect hydraulic power steering of the vehicle independently of the operation of the steering control. The electronically controlled hydraulic steering control valve is operable in response to signals from an electronic controller, the hydraulic steering actuator being supplied with pressurised hydraulic fluid from a supply valve arrangement.

Abstract: System, method and computer program that encompasses one or more client devices cooperating with a program host's on-line data processing center to generate media playlists. Data is transmitted from a program participant's client device to the processing center and is representative of media inventory in a media library on the client device and includes identification data of contained individual media items. Data is further received from a plurality of program participants representative of each respective program participant's media inventory, regardless of the source of the members of the inventory. Co-occurrence of pairs of individual media items in different program participants' media libraries is determined and a similarity rating is assigned between the pairs of individual media items based on the determined incidence of co-occurrence in the different program participants' media libraries. From this, a media playlist is generated.

Accordingly, there is a transmission from a program host to a program participant of identification of at least one recommended-for-purchase media item selected based on the recommended-for-purchase media item being rated as similar to a designated media item presently contained in an inventory of a media library of the program participant. The rating of the recommended-for-purchase media item as being similar to the designated media item presently contained in the inventory of the media library of the program participant is representative of a frequency at which the recommended-for-purchase media item co-occurs with the designated media item in media libraries of others.

Abstract: System, method and computer program for facilitating media playlist generation based at least in part on media library inventory information provided by a plurality of program participants. Data is transmitted from a program participant's client device indicative of media inventory in a media library of the program participant. Media item similarity ratings are received at the client device that have been compiled based on cumulative data collected from a plurality of program participants, including identification data of individual media items contained in media libraries of the program participants regardless of each individual media item's source. Similarity ratings compilation includes processing the cumulative data to determine an incidence of co-occurrence of pairs of individual media items in different program participants' media libraries and making an assignment of a similarity rating based on the determined incidence of co-occurrence.

Abstract: A self-expiring label system is provided that includes a label, a backing sheet, an adhesive, and a migrating ink pattern. The adhesive removably secures a bottom label surface to a top sheet surface. The migrating ink pattern is on a bottom sheet surface. The lines of weakness define a second portion of the backing sheet around the migrating ink pattern and at least one of the lines is a cut line that defines a starting point for peeling the label away from the backing sheet in a removal direction. The second portion remains adhered to the label by separation from the backing sheet along the lines of weakness upon peeling the label away from the backing sheet in the removal direction when a user simultaneously grasps a top label surface of the first portion and the bottom sheet surface of the second portion through the cut line.

Abstract: A system and method for providing wireless synchronized operation of electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems are provided. The method may include communicating wirelessly between each of a plurality of controllers connected to a plurality of detectors of the plurality of EAS systems and receiving with a communications receiver of each of the controllers wireless communications from at least some of the other plurality of controllers. The communications receiver may be separate from a tag detection receiver.
