  • Publication number: 20070205137
Abstract: A composition having a density at 15° C. of between 820 and 845 kg/m3 and a cetane number of equal or greater than 40, which composition has been obtained by blending the following components: (a) a cracked gas oil, (b) a mineral derived gas oil other than (a), and (c) a Fischer-Tropsch derived kerosene fraction; and the use of this composition as an automotive gas oil fuel composition.

  • Publication number: 20070135664
Abstract: A process to blend a mineral derived hydrocarbon product and a Fischer-Tropsch derived hydrocarbon product is disclosed including the step of providing in an Above Ground Storage Tank a quantity of mineral derived hydrocarbon product and Fischer-Tropsch derived hydrocarbon product such that initially the mineral derived hydrocarbon product is located substantially above the Fischer-Tropsch derived hydrocarbon product.

  • Publication number: 20050109672
Abstract: A fuel composition useful for operating a jet engine or a diesel engine containing a petroleum derived kerosene fuel and a Fischer-Tropsch derived kerosene fuel is provided. The Fischer-Tropsch derived kerosene fuel contains normal and iso-paraffins in a weight ratio of greater than 1:1 and/or the freeze point of the composition is lower than the freeze points of both of the petroleum derived kerosene fuel and the Fischer-Tropsch derived kerosene fuel.

  • Patent number: 6200083
Abstract: An attachment for a forklift truck comprising an articulated bucket, hydraulic ram and pallet-like platform for engagement with the forks of the truck. By using the existing hydraulic lines of the truck the bucket may be actuated between a horizontal and a dump positions. The ram is positioned medially on the bucket and a gusset plate is employed within the bucket to enable the forces to be distributed to the bucket plates in an even manner and so that the assembly may be constructed with plates of less weight.

  • Patent number: 5150632
Abstract: A self adjusting eccentric pivot mechanism is disclosed in a seat back recliner assembly which eliminates backlash between the gears of the recliner mechanism to prevent vibration and rattle of a seat back when the seat is unoccupied. The self adjusting pivot includes a pivot pin with an eccentric member rotatable thereon upon which one gear of the recliner mechanism is mounted. A biasing spring rotates the eccentric member to move the gears toward one another such that back lash between the gear teeth is eliminated. The use of a biasing spring provides a self adjusting feature which enables the position of the eccentric member to move as the seat back is adjusted over its range of motion to accommodate variation in the gears.

  • Patent number: 4413267
Abstract: A recoverable ink supply system, comprising both method and apparatus, includes a primary reservoir which is connected by suitable fluid conduit to a prime, or primary, pump. The prime pump transfers the liquid ink from the primary reservoir to an intermediate reservoir at an increased pressure causing a lower pressure condition in the sealed primary reservoir and a higher pressure condition in the sealed intermediate reservoir. Secondary, or metering pumps, receive pressurized ink from the intermediate reservoir after it is filtered at the reservoir outlet, and supply metered, higher pressure ink through combined filter/pressure fluctuation dampers to associated on/off control valves. The control valves permit the flow of the pressurized ink into the print heads wherefrom the ink is discharged at a controlled uniform velocity.

  • Patent number: 4120721
Abstract: This invention relates to a liquid radiation curable composition useful for coating and imaging which comprises(1) an acrylic or methacrylic terminated, urethane containing polyene,(2) a non-water soluble vinyl monomer diluent, preferably an acrylate or methacrylate monomer diluent,(3) a polythiol containing at least two thiol groups per molecule and(4) a photoinitiator. The composition on exposure to radiation, e.g., a U.V. light source, cures to a solid polythioether.
