Abstract: A process, device and system are provided for utilizing waste heat from a waste heat source, especially from an internal combustion engine, by a coolant being heated and by this heat being used to drive a turbine. The device utilizes waste heat with a waste heat source (10, 20) cooled by a coolant, with a turbine (11) and with an evaporating device (16) for the coolant. To increase the efficiency of such a process and such a device and system, and to reduce the design effort and the maintenance effort, the coolant is evaporated after it leaves the waste heat source (10, 20) and the evaporating means is provided after the waste heat source (10, 20) when viewed in the direction of flow of the coolant.

Abstract: A package for storing and dispensing edible film strips comprising a tray and lid that slide relative to each other between open and closed positions. The tray may include a ridge spaced from the front edge of the tray to direct film strips upward in advance of the front edge as they are pushed forward. Stops may be provided to retain the lid in a closed position and inhibit travel of the lid beyond a predetermined open position. Exterior surface structure may be provided on the tray and lid to facilitate manual engagement.

Abstract: An artist's palette is shown having surface roughness values conducive to wetting, spreading and suspension maintenance of water color, acrylic and other pigment media. Porous materials having selected permeability versus open porosity are disclosed which are useful both as in a palette substrate as well as a color pot in a reservoir system module that provides extended pigment suspension life. Interchangeable color pots receivable in modules which in turn are receivable in work boxes are disclosed providing optimum artist flexibility.
