  • Patent number: 9051824
Abstract: A well completion system for monitoring multiple annuluses in a well, including an “A” annulus (between the production tubing and production casing) and a “B” annulus (between the production casing and intermediate casing). The system includes a tubing hanger suspension assembly that seals and separates an upper area of the production annulus. Port(s) in the production casing above the seal provide access between the “B” annulus and the separated area. The system also includes a moveable sleeve that allows fluid communication through the port(s) when in an open position, but not in a closed position. The tubing hanger suspension assembly includes means for moving the sleeve from the closed position to the open position. In addition, the tubing hanger housing includes “A” and “B” annulus passageways in communication with the production annulus and the separated area, respectively.

  • Patent number: 7350569
Abstract: The invention generally relates to an apparatus and a method for conveying and operating tools in a wellbore. In one aspect, a method of performing an operation in a wellbore is provided. The method includes running a selectively separable plug member accommodating a tool into the wellbore on a continuous rod and positioning the separable plug member adjacent a receiver member disposed in the wellbore. The method further includes manipulating the weight of the continuous rod to seat the separable plug member in the receiver member. In another aspect, a plug assembly for use in a wellbore is provided.

  • Patent number: 7185700
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a tool for use in a wellbore. In one aspect, a method of performing an operation in a wellbore is provided. The method includes running a selectively separable plug member accommodating a tool into the wellbore on a continuous rod. Next, a first portion of the plug member is separated from a second portion and then the continuous rod is used to position the second portion with the tool below the first portion to perform the operation. In another aspect, a method of logging a wellbore is provided. In yet another aspect, a plug assembly for use in a wellbore is provided.

  • Patent number: 6902179
Abstract: A trailer has parallel rearward rails and a pair of angled forward rails and a pair of angled intermediate rails. A pair of similarly configured hinge assemblies couple the forward rails and the intermediate rails. Each hinge assembly includes upwardly extending wings on each intermediate rail with a bolt there between and with a hall positioned on the bolt between the wings. The hinge has a cylinder with a cylindrical opening secured to each forward rail. Each hinge assembly has a connecting element with an annular collar pivotably received on the ball of the adjacent rearward rail. A pin extends into the cylindrical opening whereby the forward rails may pivot with respect to the intermediate rails of the forward section.

  • Publication number: 20030160453
Abstract: An apparatus for tying inflated balloons having a wrapping member and a threading member. The threading member is configured to insert into a slot in the wrapping member. The apparatus is configured to aid in tying an inflated balloon by wrapping a neck of the inflated balloon around the wrapping member, securing a mouth of the inflated balloon in a gripping portion of the threading member, and removing the threaded member from the wrapping member to pull the mouth of the inflated balloon through the wrapped neck of the balloon. This results in an inflated balloon having a knot tied in the neck thereof.

  • Patent number: 6491284
Abstract: A carpet stretching device and method of using the same to install carpet on stairs, the device including a primary support arm extending from an anchor to a base, a lever arm extending from a grip to a base, a gripping head having carpet-engaging teeth attached to a base, and a stretching mechanism operatively connecting the base of the support arm to the base of the gripping head. The stretching mechanism also is operatively connected to the lever arm, so that application of a force to the grip of the lever arm forces the gripping head to move toward the anchor of the primary support arm.
