  • Patent number: 11984845
Abstract: A light wave (solar) collector apparatus includes a preferably parabolic mirror configured to direct solar energy towards a secondary reflector, then through a gap in the mirror, and towards one or more secondary mirrors, each of the secondary mirrors positioned to direct the solar energy towards a solar collection target. The subsequent diversion achieved by the solar collector apparatus allows collection of solar energy several times denser than natural sunlight, and can be captured using a substantially compact system.

  • Patent number: 11946850
Abstract: A device for detecting particles in air; said device comprising: a receiver for receiving a flow of air comprising particles; a particle capturing arrangement configured to transfer the particles from the flow of air to a liquid for collection of a set of particles in the liquid; a flow channel configured to pass a flow of the liquid comprising the set of particles through the flow channel; a light source configured to illuminate the set of particles in the flow channel, such that an interference pattern is formed by interference between light being scattered by the set of particles and non-scattered light from the light source; and an image sensor comprising a plurality of photo-sensitive elements configured to detect incident light, the image sensor being configured to detect the interference pattern.

  • Patent number: 4185317
Abstract: A lead wire assembly is provided which permits soldering connections and welding connections to be made to the anode and cathode of solid electrolytic capacitor body while applying force in a single direction to the lead wire assembly during soldering and welding. Automatic processing of a multiplicity of capacitor bodies is facilitated by the present invention.

Date of Patent: January 22, 1980
    Assignee: Union Carbide Corporation
    Inventor: Richard A. Lambrecht
  • Patent number: 4155533
Abstract: A mold comprising a pair of mold sections which when closed form separate communicating chambers for receiving a component body and a portion of a non-axial lead extending from the component body. Molten plastic introduced into the mold encapsulates the capacitor body while the plastic which surrounds the lead portion is readily detached from the lead portion.

  • Patent number: 4155532
Abstract: A mold comprising a pair of mold sections which when closed form separate communicating chambers for receiving a component body and a portion of a non-axial lead extending from the component body at an angle to the axis of the body. Molten plastic introduced into the mold encapsulates the capacitor body while the plastic which surrounds the lead portion is readily detached from the lead portion.
