Publication number: 20240112824Abstract: A system configured to monitor the structural health of reactor vessel internals of a nuclear reactor is disclosed herein. The system includes a memory configured to store historical information associated with past performance of the nuclear reactor, and an anomaly detection subsystem including a control circuit configured to receive a signal from a sensor. The anomaly detection subsystem is configured to determine, via the control circuit, a characteristic of a vibrational response of the reactor vessel internals based, at least in part, on the signal; access, via the control circuit, the historical information stored in the memory; compare, via the control circuit, the determined characteristic to the historical information stored in the memory; and determine, via the control circuit, a condition of the reactor vessel internals based, at least in part, on the comparison of the determined characteristic and the historical information.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: Westinghouse Electric Company LLCInventors: Gregory A. Patent number: 11841187Abstract: Systems and methods can control refrigeration within a refrigerated freight container. Thermal sensor nodes can be positioned within the freight container. Temperature measurements can be wirelessly relayed from the sensor nodes to a gateway associated with the freight container. The received temperature measurements can be aggregated and logged at the gateway. Thermal models of the freight container and associated cargo loads can be established in response to the logged temperature measurements and loading plan for the foreign container. The refrigeration system can be controlled in response to processing the thermal models. The refrigeration system can be controlled to optimize compliance parameters associated with the cargo loads.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2022Date of Patent: December 12, 2023Assignee: Globe Tracker, ApSInventor: Richard Meyers

Patent number: 11183086Abstract: Systems and methods can secure freight container seals using electronic sensors. A hardened sensor clamp housing can include one or more sensing portals. The sensor clamp housing can receive a bolt seal through each of the sensing portals. One or more seal sensors may be positioned proximate to the sensing portals to sense a physical characteristic of the inserted bolt seal. This characteristic may be electrical, optical, magnetic, or so forth. The seal sensors can generate an electrical signal associated with cutting or tampering with the inserted bolt seal. The electrical signal can be coupled to a sensor clamp module operable to determine a tamper state of the bolt seal in response to the associated electrical signal. The determined tamper state can be communicated via a sensor clamp wireless module to a container controller or communications gateway.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2018Date of Patent: November 23, 2021Inventor: Richard Meyers

Patent number: 10680907Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing requests for access to one or more systems. One exemplary method includes receiving, through a request interface, a keyword associated with multiple roles and identifying one or more of the multiple roles consistent with the keyword, causing the identified role(s) to be displayed to the user at the communication device in the request interface, and, upon selection of one or more of the identified role(s) by the user, applying at least one access rule to the selected one or more of the identified role(s). The method then also includes issuing a notification to the user, at the request interface, when the selected one or more of the identified role(s) violates the at least one rule, where the notification indicates the violation and the at least one access rule, thereby permitting the user to select one or more different roles from the identified role(s).Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2019Date of Patent: June 9, 2020Assignee: MASTERCARD INTERNATIONAL INCORPORATEDInventors: Mark Richard Meyer, Srinivas Kosaraju
