  • Publication number: 20210101174
Abstract: One embodiment of a container for transferring, storing, and dispensing paint indefinitely for touch-up painting by the use of a plurality of open-ably close-able apertures (310, 320) that cause transferring, storing, and dispensing of paint, in conjunction with a plurality of paint storage areas (1391, 153) that are independently open-ably sealable to allow for various functions such as, sealed storing of paint in one paint storage area while doing touch-up painting from another paint storage area, moving paint from external paint source to a paint storage area, moving paint between paint storage areas. Using standard (180, 190), as well as custom paint applicators allowing for ease of use, and with various features that allow for use with no clean up needed, such as replaceable components (121, 130, 170, 180, 190, 191, 192, 250) non-stick components (121, 130, 141), integral paint tray (130), paint containment features such as paint retaining walls (130) and paint catching recesses (130, 140).

  • Patent number: 8892405
Abstract: A system enables a transfer of analysis properties between geometry models and includes a memory for storing analysis properties of a first model that includes a plurality of components, each component assigned to one or more of the analysis properties and each component assigned to one or more voxels in a coordinate system based on component location. The system includes a processor programmed to receive data corresponding to a second model comprising a plurality of components, access analysis properties of the first model, apply the coordinate system to the second model, using the coordinate system and analysis properties assigned to each voxel in the coordinate system, map the plurality of components of the second model to one or more voxels in the coordinate system, and assign analysis properties of the first model to components of the second model based on voxel mapping to the components of the second model.

  • Patent number: 5440810
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for loading, transferring, and spreading a sheet of laundry onto a conveyor. One aspect of the invention is to provide a clamp which has a pivot arm adapted to releasably grip a top corner portion of the sheet. The pivot arm is movable between a forwardly extending first position in which the corner portion of the sheet is gripped and a second position closer to the conveyor than the first position. A spreader mechanism spreads apart the top corner portion of the sheet and an opposite top corner portion of the sheet. Another aspect of the invention is to provide a pair of such clamps each having a pivot arm adapted to releasably grip a corresponding top corner portion of the sheet. The clamps are moved laterally apart to spread the sheet and returned to the receiving position after the pivot arms release the sheet.

  • Patent number: 4421427
Abstract: A shorthand machine including an electric drive system to advance the platen. In accordance with the invention, the platen can be advanced in a fully mechanical, conventional mode, fully electric mode, or by a combination of electric and mechanical drives. In the electric or electric/mechanical modes, after the shorthand machine operator makes a key stroke and releases the keys, an electric circuit pulses an electric motor connected to the platen to drive the platen for a predetermined duration of time. Subsequent to the driving pulse, power to the motor is reversed to quickly brake the motor and bring it to a rapid stop. The duration of time that the motor is activated may be varied, varying the amount of advancement of the platen, and thus varying the distance between recorded key strokes for each word or part of word generated by the operator of the shorthand machine.

  • Patent number: 4205351
Abstract: A digital data recorder is adapted for receiving a plurality of parallel input data members for defining a single input signal. Any of the input data members may change in identity during the presentation of the single input signal, and the recorder gives priority identity to any input data member which is of the priority identity for any time during the presentation. The recorder produces a serial, digital data output signal comprising a finite sequence of binary data bits in one-to-one correspondence with the parallel input data members, with the binary state of the bit corresponding to the identity of the input member. The serial, digital output signal is suitable for recording on the single channel of a magnetic tape for fully defining the input signal. The recorder is described in detail as adapted for recording the words taken by a shorthand machine.
