  • Patent number: 3947371
Abstract: An electrostatographic developer mixture comprising finely divided toner particles electrostatically clinging to the surface of larger carrier beads, each of the carrier beads comprising a core particle surrounded by a thin outer layer of a poly(p-xylylene) polymer. Imaging processes of developing electrostatic latent images with the developer mixture are also disclosed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 19, 1973
Date of Patent: March 30, 1976
    Assignee: Xerox Corporation
Inventors: Richard A. Parent, H. Ronald Thomas

  • Patent number: 3944711
Abstract: A transparency is disclosed, which is suitable for use in a multicolored xerographic reproduction process comprising a transparent, thermoplastic film sheet having at least one surface coated with a material selected from the group of nonvolatile amine compounds. The coated transparency, when used in a multicolored electrostatic copying process improves adhesion of the multicolored image thereon and permits reproduction of colors and color densities in said image which correspond well to the copied multicolored original.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: March 16, 1976
    Assignee: Xerox Corporation

  • Patent number: 3944710
Abstract: A transparency is disclosed, which is suitable for use in a multicolored xerographic reproduction process comprising a transparent, thermoplastic film sheet having at least one surface coated with a material selected from the group of long chain aliphatic hydrocarbons. The coated transparency, when used in a multicolored electrostatic copying process improves adhesion of the multicolored image thereon and permits reproduction of colors and color densities in said image which correspond well to the multicolored original copied.
