  • Publication number: 20240108956
Abstract: A system and device for capturing data associated with the characteristics of a golf swing through a plurality of sensors. The device is affixed to a golf club and captures data associated with the characteristics of a golf swing when the golf club is swung. The device utilizes a plurality of power states to vary the power levels provided to a plurality of sensors and computer components, as well as, communication to extend batter life of the device.

  • Patent number: 7107995
Abstract: A urinary-control device for inhibiting male incontinence includes an upper clamping member; a lower clamping member; a hinge; and a releasable, self-locking mechanism. The upper clamping member has first and second distal ends and a substantially arcuate inner surface extending therebetween. The inner surface is adapted to be disposed about a portion of a penis. The lower clamping member has first and second distal ends and a substantially arcuate inner surface extending therebetween. The inner surface is adapted to be disposed about a portion of the penis and opposite the upper clamping member. The hinge is defined at the first distal ends for allowing articulated movement of the upper and lower clamping members relative to one another. The self-locking mechanism is defined at the second distal ends opposite the hinge and adapted to adjustably lock the second distal ends together, thereby mounting the device to the penis.

  • Patent number: 6371242
Abstract: In the manufacture of a noise attenuation panel for an aeroengine nacelle an adhesive film is applied to a front face of a cellular component of the panel. The adhesive film is caused to reticulate to the ends of the walls of the cells at the front face of the cellular component. A perforate facing component of the panel is bonded to the front face of the cellular component by adhesive flow from the cell walls to the facing component. To avoid unpredictable adhesive flow giving rise to cosmetic spots on the front face of the facing component the two components are brought together with the interposition of an adhesive flow control sheet and the reticulated adhesive caused to bond the two components together by adhesive flow under the control of the adhesive flow control sheet.

  • Patent number: 6358590
Abstract: A noise attenuation panel for an aircraft engine nacelle structure comprises a cellular core having a multiplicity of cells and a facing sheet having a multiplicity of holes which provide for gaseous fluid communication between the cellular core and the front face of the facing sheet. Each hole in the facing sheet has a bore diameter which increases along the bore in the direction of the rear face of the facing sheet throughout the bore or a part of the bore and which does not at any point of the bore decrease along the bore in the direction of the rear face of the facing sheet. Prior to assembly of the facing sheet and the core the holes are formed by electron beam drilling from an entrance face of the facing sheet through to an exit face and the facing sheet and the cellular core are assembled to form the panel in such disposition that the exit face forms the front face of the facing sheet and the entrance face forms the rear face of the facing sheet.
