  • Patent number: 9808959
Abstract: A method for fabricating a concrete slab upon a surface, the concrete slab having a final thickness and having, upon drying, a maximum dry density, the method including steps of providing a body of no-slump concrete, the no-slump concrete including a combination of aggregate and paste; dispensing the no-slump concrete upon the surface in an even depth layer which has an upper surface and includes an air volume, a portion of the paste residing at an upper surface of the even depth layer; removing a portion of the air volume from the no-slump concrete layer by compaction; trowel mulching the paste which resides at the upper surface; and trowel transporting the mulched paste horizontally over the upper surface to form a smooth concrete paste upper slab surface.

  • Patent number: 6070573
Abstract: A nebulizer is improved by placing a flexible valve in the ambient air inlet tube. Inhalation suction and Venturi effect shut down the flexible valve in proportion to the strength of the inhalation. Thus, the same output flow rate is obtained even with variable strength inhalations. Medications can be properly administered by controlled inhalation flow rates.

  • Patent number: 5758120
Abstract: A method and system for increasing memory concurrency in a multiprocessor computer system which includes system memory, multiple processors coupled together via a bus, each of the processors including multiple processor units for executing multiple instructions and for performing read, write and store operations and an associated Translation Lookaside Buffer (TLB) for translating effective addresses into real memory addresses within the system memory. Multiple page table entries are provided within a page table within the system memory which each include multiple individually accessible fields, an effective address and an associated real memory address for a selected system memory location. A reference bit is provided within a first individually accessible field in each page table entry and this reference bit is utilized to indicate if an associated system memory location has been accessed for a read or write operation.
