  • Publication number: 20090036767
Abstract: The invention disclosed herein provides a system and method for diagnosing lower urinary system conditions by receiving urodynamic data and subjective symptomatic impressions concerning a patient. The system and method then assigns weighted point values to the urodynamic data, for example, urethal pressure profiles due to sphincter contraction conditions such as urgency (2) and stress incontinence (4), and the subjective symptomatic impressions, quantifies norms for lower urinary system function, as a whole or in part, and quantifies recognized pathologies of lower urinary system conditions as degrees of departure from the norms. The system and method then determines a lower urinary system condition diagnosis of the patient, as a function of the degrees of departure from the norms, by invoking a set of rules to compare the weighted point values assigned and the quantified norms.

  • Publication number: 20090031152
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for starting up of at least one first field instrument, wherein the method comprises the step of signaling a firs demand for electrical power output of the first field instrument over a first port to a supply unit. According to this method, the first field instrument is previously connected to the supply unit over the first port by means of a first communication connection. In addition, the reception of the power output is effected according to the first demand for power output by the first field instrument over the first communication connection and the first port, by which the first filed instrument is activated. In an additional step, a power usage unit of the first field instrument is assigned to the first port, wherein the power usage unit is provided as consumer load for the power output.

  • Publication number: 20080202262
Abstract: A gas permeable membrane comprising a thin polymeric coating on a microporous backing, said gas permeable membrane being permeable permitting for oxygen and carbon dioxide at different flow rates, wherein the gas permeable membrane is made from a copolymer of a polyether and a polyamide enables the achievement of a controlled atmosphere in a cargo region, wherein the membrane is able to obtain and hold low concentrations of carbon dioxide and of oxygen in the atmosphere in the cargo region and to produce an “ideal” or optimum storage atmosphere which will ensure a retardation of respiratory activity within the container.

  • Publication number: 20080103948
Abstract: A method of doing business by making a wireline service company's use of high energy gas fracturing devices available to well owners. The method starts with owning high energy gas fracturing packets made of a shell at least partially filled with propellant and shipping at least 10 of the packets to the wireline service company, but retaining ownership. The wireline service company is permitted to assemble a high energy gas fracturing device that incorporates the packets. When the wireline service company uses one of the devices to fracture a well, the well owner is charged for the packets, which are destroyed by the use. The wireline service company is permitted to bill for its service in using the device.

  • Publication number: 20080056241
Abstract: A unified session detail records of a multi-hop session is provided. The multi-hop session may be established through multiple nodes in a VoIP network. Each node may generate session detail records for the legs of the multi-hop session that are connected to the node. The nodes on the path of the multi-hop call may send the record to a single node to consolidate the session detail records of the legs of the multi-hop call in the single node so that the single node can provide unified session detail records of the multi-hop session. By providing unified session detail records, the user does not need to track down the nodes that are on the path of the multi-hop call to obtain the session detail records of the multi-hop session.
