  • Patent number: 10408559
Abstract: A portable, compact, collapsible, adjustable, archery crossbow press for high poundage crossbows which have a rifle-like frame with an elongate channel and transverse limbs with outwardly located cams or wheels connected by a bow string. The crossbow press includes two limb clamp assemblies that releasably capture the transverse limbs about the cams. A flexible connector connects the two limb clamp assembles just above the rifle-like frame. A safety hook block fits within the elongate channel rearwardly of the crossbow string and is anchored to the rifle-like frame. A mechanical cocking device pulls the flexible connector rearwardly to secure it to a hook on the anchored safety hook block.

Crossbows with a crank-type cocking device utilize a slide moveable within the elongate channel to capture and pull the flexible connector into a rearward locked position. In this condition, the bow string, string sights, dampers, tension cable, cams and other components may be safely worked on or replaced.

  • Patent number: 7604116
Abstract: A glued three piece folding basket carrier which has two partitions for dividing the carrier into six cells with each partition being constructed of a different material than used to construct the outside basket carrier. Each partition is glued to a handle panel and a divider flap on the end of the basket carrier and a to a side wall to form a bottle cell with walls that are perpendicular to the divider between the two sides of the carrier and which are also formed as part of the partition.

  • Publication number: 20070108261
Abstract: A fully enclosed carton for carrying heavy loads with a reinforcement insert (58a, 58b) for the handle apertures (50a, 50b) located in the top end flaps (38, 40) of the carton. The paperboard reinforcing insert may be extended as a bridge across the top panel (14) of the carton to prevent tearing of the handle apertures in the top end flaps and also tearing in the top panel (14) of the carton when carrying a heavy load. The carton may have one or more dispensers (70a, 70b) in the top panel which may extend into an adjoining side panel (12, 18). Multiple tear lines may be formed for the dispenser flap in the insert that extends across the top panel to permit easy access to the containers, such as bottles, in the carton. The paperboard reinforcing insert may have a larger aperture (60a, 60b) than the handle aperture in each top end flap to adjust for any imprecision in the alignment of the paperboard insert in forming the carton sleeve from the paperboard blank.

  • Patent number: 7068754
Abstract: Some embodiments include a ring anode to emit radiation, and a conical monochromator to monochromatize the emitted radiation. According to some aspects, an outer diameter of the ring anode is greater than an outer diameter of a base of the monochromator.

  • Patent number: 5342459
Abstract: An aluminum alloy containing about 0.5 to 1.3% magnesium, about 0.4 to 1.2% silicon, about 0.6 to 1.2% copper, about 0.1 to 1% manganese, the balance substantially being aluminum along with impurities and incidental elements, is made into wrought wire, rod, bar or tube products by extrusion and cold working, preferably drawing, operations. The method includes extrusion within about 300.degree. or 400.degree. up to about 650.degree. or 700.degree. F. and even possibly up to 750.degree. or 800.degree. F. on a less preferred basis. Following extrusion, the product may be cold drawn either before or after, or both before and after, solution heat treatment and quenching. Rapid quenching is preferred. The product can then be artificially aged, for instance by heating to 375.degree. F. The resulting product has a fine grain size and consistent and good properties so as to be useful in a number of applications.
