Publication number: 20210112777Abstract: The invention is a plush and fabric animal shaped toy with sections of rope that extend out from the body of the toy and are connected via surgical tubing inside the plush toy that pull apart two layers of hook and loop material causing a ripping sound similar to that of Velcro®. When the rope is released the hook and loop halves are reconnected and ready for the animal to pull again. The plush animal has embroidered face detail and squeakers and cellophane material located in the head or limbs of the toy adding additional noises to emit from the toy when a pet is playing with it.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 21, 2019Publication date: April 22, 2021Inventors: Nicholas Richard Watts, Elizabeth Bentz, Danielle Salyer

Patent number: 10108414Abstract: At least one ALM artifact, indexed by a unified data store, that does not comply with at least one process convention can be identified. Responsive to identifying the ALM artifact, indexed by the unified data store, that does not comply with the process convention, a determination can be made by a process convention agent executed by a processor as to whether script code is available to update the ALM artifact to comply with the process convention. Responsive to the process convention agent determining that script code is available to update the ALM artifact to comply with the process convention, the process convention agent can automatically execute the script code to update the ALM artifact to comply with the process convention.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2014Date of Patent: October 23, 2018Assignee: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: Muhtar B. Publication number: 20160146504Abstract: A water heater including a tank to hold water to be heated, the tank having an outer surface, and a source of heat for heating the water in the tank. The water heater further includes a jacket surrounding the tank, the jacket having an inner surface facing the tank, a plastic skin attached to the outer surface of the tank, and an annular space between the tank and the jacket. In addition, the water heater includes foam insulation within the annular space. The foam insulation cures to form a porous solid layer of insulation between the tank and jacket, and the foam insulation shrinks during curing. The foam insulation adheres to the inner surface of the jacket, and the foam insulation does not adhere to the plastic skin during curing, to thereby reduce a deforming load on a portion of the jacket opposite the plastic skin.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 23, 2015Publication date: May 26, 2016Inventors: Richard Watts, R. James Terwilliger, Jeffrey Gross

Patent number: 7734078Abstract: In time-resolved contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography, a measure quantifying image quality provides a basis for generating a linear filtered composite image by facilitating selection of a mask and an arterial phase image for subtraction. Filtering of individual pixels of a temporal series of images provides enhanced contrast in a single image by allowing the temporal behavior of the pixel intensity to denote representation as an artery, vein or background tissue. Motion artifacts are suppressed by re-registering sequential images, adjusting weighting before averaging and subtraction and filtering the Fourier data to eliminate data corrupted by motion or other phenomena.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2009Date of Patent: June 8, 2010Assignee: Cornell Research Foundation, Inc.Inventors: Martin R. Prince, Ramin Zabih, Yi Wang, Richard Watts, Junhwan Kim, Jeff Bezanson, Hale Ersoy

Patent number: 7003343Abstract: Current bolus chase magnetic resonance angiography is limited by the imaging time for each station. Tailoring the density of k-space sampling along the anterior-posterior direction of the coronal station allows a substantial decrease in scan time that leads to greater contrast bolus sharing among stations and consequently a significant improvement in image quality. Fast arterial-venous transit in the carotid arteries requires accurate, reliable timing of the acquisition to the bolus transit to maximize arterial signal and minimize venous artifacts. The rising edge of the bolus is not utilized in conventional elliptical-centric view ordering because the critical k-space center must be acquired with full arterial enhancement. The invention provides a recessed elliptical-centric view ordering scheme is introduced in which the k-space center is acquired a few seconds following scan initiation. The recessed view ordering is shown to be more robust to timing errors in a patient studies.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 2002Date of Patent: February 21, 2006Assignee: Cornell Research Foundation, Inc.Inventors: Richard Watts, Yi Wang, Martin R. Prince

Patent number: 6776564Abstract: A wheelchair restraint has four primary components: a base assembly, two pivot members or arms, hinges and belt assemblies. The base assembly is used to mount the restraint to a vehicle. The arms are connected to the base assembly and each retain a belt assembly via a respective hinge. The arms pivot from a horizontal operating position about a horizontal axes to a vertical storage position. The vehicle restraint allows an operator to quickly and easily secure or release a passenger in a wheelchair, while maintaining the integrity of the straps/belts and prolonging strap/belt life by storing the straps/belts out of the range of the elements that would otherwise deteriorate them. In the storage position, the area can be used by other passengers not requiring securement and remain out of the way during wheelchair ingress and egress.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2000Date of Patent: August 17, 2004Assignee: USSC Group Inc.Inventors: David G. Kiernan, Richard A. Watts
