    Abstract: An improved tooth 21 and tooth holder 22 assembly for use with a digging implement such as a post hole digger has a first retention member 23 and a second retention member 24 each of which can be used in isolation or in combination. The first retention member 23 comprises a nylon plug having opposed serrated teeth 25 and which is pushed into an opening in the tooth holder 22. The tooth contains rigid profiles 26 and when the tooth is pushed into the tooth holder, the serrations and profiles mesh together to positively retain the tooth within the tooth holder. The second retention means 24 comprises a resilient pin. The tooth and the tooth holder have a positive and negative wedge type shape which allows the tooth to be attached in one orientation only.

    Abstract: In a method for removing a substance from a feedstock comprising a solid metal or a solid metal compound, the feedstock is contacted with a fused-salt melt. The fused-salt melt contains a fused salt, a reactive-metal compound, and a reactive metal. The fused salt comprises an anion species which is different from the substance, the reactive-metal compound comprises the reactive metal and the substance, and the reactive metal is capable of reaction to remove at least some of the substance from the feedstock. A cathode and an anode contact the melt, and the feedstock contacts the cathode. An electrical current is applied between the cathode and the anode such that at least a portion of the substance is removed from the feedstock. During the application of the current, a quantity of the reactive metal in the melt is maintained sufficient to prevent oxidation of the anion species of the fused salt at the anode.

When the detection unit perceives danger, it sends an activation signal and an alarm signal to the signal notification article to alert the user that a threat is present. The wearable signal notification article comprises a flexible bracelet-style housing, and an integrated alert circuit module with a sensor chip, an antenna, multiple light sources, a vibrator, and a battery. Different illumination and vibration patterns occur depending upon the type of threat present and the associated alarm signal received. In this way, the device provides specific threat type information to hearing impaired users.
