  • Publication number: 20240330912
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products provide direct and in-network provisioning of tokens. A secure token exchange (STE) processor receives a direct token request from a token requestor prior to sending a payment transaction message or request for payment message. In-network token provisioning is performed during a transaction and also involves the STE processor. Data aggregation security is provided by verifying consumer information, tokenizing account data, and forwarding a token and consumer data to a data aggregator.

  • Patent number: 6070388
Abstract: A device for opening a series of bags in a stack. The device comprises a rotatable element having a substantially circular cross section. This element rotates and grabs a front side of the bag. Attached to the rotatable element is a first drive mechanism for rotating the element. In addition, a sensor is attached to the first drive mechanism. The sensor reads when the rotatable wheel grabs the bag. A second drive mechanism is connected to the first drive mechanism. This second drive mechanism drives the wheel into and back away from the bag stack. In this way, when the rotatable element rotates and moves into the bag, it grabs the bag. Next, it wraps the bag around the element so that the bag trips the sensor. The sensor triggers the motor to stop the element from rotating. In addition, the sensor signals the second drive mechanism to move the element away from the bag stack, to open the bag.

  • Patent number: 5642791
Abstract: A plastic bag packing system adapted for use in association with a retail store check out counter having a front wall with a recess extending therein, the recess having a rear wall including a centrally positioned horizontal rod, the apparatus comprising: an electrically powered motor including a rotation device, a pinion gear being operatively coupled to the rotation device, a plurality of wires electrically coupling the motor to an electrical source and an activation device, a rack formed having a plurality of grooves and including a forward end and a rearward end, the rearward end being coupled to the pinion gear such that rotation of the pinion gear causes the rack to move rearward or forward upon engagement of the motor; and a retractable arm assembly comprising two forwardly extending horizontal arms and a horizontal rear bar, the rear bar being coupled to the forward end of the rack, the arms being slidably positioned through the rear wall of the recess, the forward end of each arm including an upturne

  • Patent number: 4692913
Abstract: The method of reading data from a data record carrier on which data has been recorded in arcuately nested, equal radii data rows which are equally spaced apart along a common centerline that is coextensive with a radius for each data row, comprises the steps of: incrementally moving the data record carrier in steps transversely of the data rows; projecting a light beam onto the plane in which the data record carrier moves; rotating the light beam about an axis parallel to the axis of said light beam to rotate said light beam in an arcuate path across the data record carrier, the radius of the arcuate path being the same or approximately the same radius of each data row; detecting scattered light outside the cone of specular reflection from the light beam impinging on the data record carrier, or the lack of scattered light, as the light beam traverses each data row; and sensing, and correcting for, difference between the arcuate path of said light beam and the arcuate path of the data row being traversed by sa

  • Patent number: 4603414
Abstract: The camera or data recording apparatus (30) consists of an optical system for creating a data record on a photosensitive medium and includes a laser (36) for generating a light beam and mirrors (62, 72, 74 and 82) for transmitting the light beam to a final light beam path (56e) which is rotated about an axis (63) parallel spaced from the final light beam path (56e). Further the camera (30) includes an assembly (38) for shaping and focusing the light beam to have a bar shape cross section which is directed to the rotating final light beam path and imaged onto a photosensitive medium (86). A modulator (58, 60) modulates the light beam from the laser (36) intermittently to image or record light beam bar shape cross sections defining data in an arcuate path (14) on the photosensitive medium (86), a computer (32) controls the modulator (58, 60) and a carriage (88) is provided for moving the photosensitive medium (86) toward and away from the axis (63) about which the final light beam (56e) rotates.

  • Patent number: 4571713
Abstract: An information record has a body of photographic film, paper, plastics material or the like, in which digital information is carried on a body in equal-radii, arcuate rows which extend across the body. The information may be stored as dark spots, light spots or dark-to-light or light-to-dark transitions with respect to transparent substances and in reflective areas, non-reflective areas or reflective-to-non-reflective or non-reflective-to-reflective transitions.
