    Abstract: The chassis for a skate for in-line wheels or for ice comprises two preformed main parts suitable for being assembled together by a fastener screw: a) a first part having, in its bottom portion, the body of the chassis for mounting the wheels or the blade, and, in its top portion, the heel cup; and b) a second part constituting at least the toe cup. The two parts include: longitudinal sliding means suitable for co-operating by the second part sliding relative to the first part from an insertion, front position to an assembled, rear position; and fastener means in which the fastener screw, having a longitudinal direction and accessible from the front face of the second part, serves to lock the two parts together in the assembled position.
