  • Publication number: 20130129479
Abstract: A turbocharger casing including a first casing part, wherein an oil line starts at a first opening on an outer side of the first casing part, runs through the first casing part and opens out at a second opening of a substantially hollow-cylindrical bearing receptacle of the first casing part. Such turbocharger casings of the prior art are produced in a complicated manner by a sand casting process and therefore give rise to high production costs. The teaching is to arrive, without functional losses, at a simple-to-produce and cost-effective turbocharger casing by the turbocharger casing having a second casing part attached to the first casing part and by both casing parts together forming a cooling water line provided for cooling the bearing receptacle. It is thus possible to arrive at a lightweight turbocharger casing by conventional machining production methods and joining technique, and this turbocharger casing can be produced cost-effectively.

  • Patent number: 8360654
Abstract: The radial antifriction bearing has an outer ring, an inner ring, and a plurality or rolling bodies arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring in such a way that the inner ring is rotatably mounted relative to the outer ring, via the rolling bodies, and the outer ring has an inner chamber in which the inner ring and/or at least one inner ring section is arranged. The inner chamber is closed at one front side of the radial antifriction bearing by a shaped marginal section of the outer ring in such a way that the inner ring and/or the at least one inner ring section is destroyed when it is removed from the outer ring.

  • Publication number: 20100220949
Abstract: The invention relates to a bearing arrangement (1) comprising an at least partially planar bearing support (2) that has a supporting bore (5), and at least one bearing (6) which is connected to said bearing support (2). An external ring (7) of the bearing (6) is provided with a recess (14) for accommodating the bearing support (2). According to the invention, the axially internal end of the recess (14) has an undercut (15), the diameter (D1) of which in relation to a bearing axis (11) is smaller than a diameter (D2) formed by an axially extending section of the recess (14). A slotted ring-type holding element (16) which positively covers the bearing support (2) in a radial direction in at least one circumferential point is inserted into the undercut (15).

  • Publication number: 20050215329
Abstract: A bearing (1, 30) for the longitudinally moveable mounting of an inner profile (2) and of an outer profile (3) on one another, the inner profile (2) and the outer profile (3) being moveable relative to one another along a longitudinal axis (1a, 30a) of the bearing (1, 30), and the bearing (1, 30) transmitting torques between the inner profile (2) and the outer profile (3), and, in the bearing (1, 30), a bearing play directed transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis (1a, 30a) being compensated elastically, with the result that the inner profile (2) and the outer profile (3) are prestressed relative to one another, free of the bearing play, by means of the bearing (1, 30), and, in this case, the profiles (2, 3) moved relative to one another transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis (1a, 30a) and supported on resiliently elastic elements (8) transversely with respect to longitudinal axis (1a, 30a) being freely moveable in relation to one another, at least by the amount of an operating play at
