  • Publication number: 20220099121
Abstract: A panel assembly includes a panel member having a mounting side and at least one elongated member. The at least one elongated member includes a mounting edge, a second edge opposite the mounting edge of the at least one elongated member, and a plurality of first spaced apart openings. The panel assembly further includes at least one elongated intersecting member. The at least one elongated intersecting member includes a mounting edge, a second edge opposite the mounting edge of the at least one elongated intersecting member, and a plurality of second spaced apart openings. Further, one of the at least one elongated member and the at least one elongated intersecting member includes at least one slot, the at least one elongated member and the at least one elongated intersecting member intersecting at the at least one slot.

  • Patent number: 8973356
Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes a cylinder block defining at least one cylinder, and a cylinder head coupled to the cylinder block. A modular exhaust manifold is coupled to the cylinder head and is configured to receive exhaust gas from the cylinder head. The modular exhaust manifold includes a plurality of exhaust manifold segments coupled together along a common axis. Each of the exhaust manifold segments includes a segment of a water jacket tube defining a plurality of liquid coolant passages and a segment of an exhaust tube received within the water jacket tube segment. A joint between adjacent exhaust manifold segments includes a first sealing member configured to seal the exhaust tube at the joint and a second sealing member configured to seal at least one of the liquid coolant passages at the joint. The first and second sealing members are supported on and movable with different components.

An exhaust manifold is coupled to the cylinder head and configured to receive exhaust gas from the cylinder head. The exhaust manifold includes a water jacket tube defining a plurality of liquid coolant passages and an exhaust tube received within the water jacket tube. The exhaust manifold also includes an air gap between the exhaust tube and the water jacket tube. A support mat is positioned in the air gap and compressed between an outer surface of the exhaust tube and an inner surface of the water jacket tube.

  • Patent number: 4711682
Abstract: A wallpaper applicator for single-handedly applying on a flat surface and in a single continuous stroke the sticky face of a wallpaper. The applicator is characterized in that it eliminates distortion of the wallpaper and formation of air bubbles in between the wallpaper and the applied surface. The device comprises an elongated cross-sectionally polygonal casing in which lies a web of wallpaper; the latter is biased against two of the flat side walls of the casing by a weight rod engaged in the cylindrical hollow defined by the wallpaper web. One casing flat side wall defines a longitudinal slot through which escapes the leading edge portion of the wallpaper.
