Abstract: A facility for manufacturing concrete and a method of operation thereof which allow for the benefits of alkali metal activated fly ash hydraulic cement to be realized, which allow the disadvantages associated therewith to be avoided, which allows widespread implementation of alkali metal activated fly ash hydraulic cement as a low-cost and environmentally-friendly substitute for Portland cement, in whole or in part, in traditional applications, and which enables new applications taking advantage of the superior characteristics of alkali metal activated fly ash cement.
