Abstract: The present disclosure provides flow cytometry system. The flow cytometry system includes a flow cell, a fluidic pathway in fluid communication with the flow cell, and a probe in fluid communication with the fluidic pathway. The probe is configured to input a plurality of samples and aliquots of a separation gas between successive ones of the plurality of samples into the fluidic pathway. The flow cytometry system also includes two or more lasers positioned such that an illumination spot of each of the two or more lasers is directly on the flow cell, and two or more side scatter detection modules in communication with the two or more lasers. The flow cytometry system also includes a processor in communication with the two or more side scatter detection modules, and a non-transitory computer readable medium having stored therein instructions that are executable to cause the processor to perform functions when using the flow cytometer system.

Abstract: Critical infrastructure (CI) protection blueprint generation in an interdependent CI architecture includes constructing a digital twin of a heterogeneous collection of CI elements associated with respectively different services provided to a common community. Thereafter, hypothetical sensor data is specified in the digital twin for a target CI element in the hierarchy. In response, sensor data is read for other CI elements dependent upon the target CI element so as to identify impacted CI elements. For each impacted CI element, additional sensor data is read for further CI elements in the hierarchy dependent upon the impacted CI elements and the process repeats until no additional impacted CI elements are identified. A listing of all impacted CI elements is written to a blueprint for the hierarchy in association with the hypothetical sensor data in order to define a cascading effect of the hypothetical sensor data upon the hierarchy within the digital twin.

Abstract: A lottery apparatus includes a programmed computer acting as a lottery control system which controls operation of the distribution of prizes to the purchasing customers from a lottery pool. The apparatus includes a plurality of typical instant win lottery tickets having a predetermined prize result taken from the pool together with a plurality of lottery cards which do not act as lottery tickets but instead include an activation code containing no information defining a prize and an access code which is used for entry by the customer into a digital experience provided by the lottery control system by which the customer accesses game information. The system, when the code is activated, assigns the result from the pool to the code and displays to the customer on a digital experience when accessed by the access code.

The rinse station apparatus includes: (a) a cartridge docking station having a base with a recessed receptacle for a cartridge, a vertical support coupled to the base's first end and a top support coupled to the vertical support and cantilevered over the base, the top support has an opening that aligns with the cartridge's opening, (b) a locking arm coupled to the base's second end, the locking arm's free end has a ridge to cooperate with a detent coupled to the cartridge's rear wall to retain the cartridge in place, (c) a spring coupled to the vertical support's front face to apply force to the cartridge's front wall to bias the cartridge toward the locking arm, and (d) a load cell coupled to the base of the cartridge docking station, the load cell measure's the cartridge's weight.

Abstract: A perimeter seal device is constructed in three layers to easily convert a non-sealed face mask to a face mask with a perimeter seal. The device has a top and bottom release liner, partitioned for providing the perimeter seal to an existing manufactured mask, with a double-sided adhesive layer in the middle formed with pressure-sensitive adhesive. A pre-cut perimeter portion of the adhesive layer provides the perimeter seal. The construction of the perimeter seal device allows alternate methods for fixing either side of the perimeter portion of the adhesive layer onto a face mask. The opposing side of the adhesive perimeter portion is adhered directly on a wearer's face. The device provides a way to convert a surgical or other non-sealed face mask to a sealed mask.

Abstract: A reinforced power cable system for use with an electric artificial lift system is provided. The system includes an electric artificial lift system. The system also includes a power cable that provides power to the electric artificial lift system from a surface of a well. The power cable includes at least one conductor positioned within a cable jacket and a braided tube with an open-weave of a reinforcing component installed around the cable jacket. Additionally, the power cable includes a coil tube welded around the braided tube.

Each lottery card carries in customer readable format only part of the game data, which is covered by a scratch-off, necessary for a determination by the customer whether the lottery card is allocated to be either a winner of a predetermined prize or a non-winner of the lottery and the lottery control system is arranged to communicate to the POS system the remaining information for said determination to be printed on a POS receipt for the customer so that the customer can read the printed data on the receipt along side or through the card to determine whether the card is a winner.

The method also includes creating a pressure seal inside the umbilical during deployment of the umbilical into the live well, the pressure seal inside the umbilical created using a blowout plug positioned to block a discharge of the production pump. The method further includes forming an annular pressure seal during deployment of the production pump to obtain well control, the annular pressure seal formed using an annular bag coupled to the wellhead.

Abstract: If an event management system or component within an event management system fails, events generated by systems and applications monitored by the event management system may not be processed or analyzed. As a result, the performance and health of the systems and applications may be unknown. To reduce the impact of a failure, an event management system can include at least two event managers: a primary event manager and one or more standby event managers. The standby event managers are configured to handle event processing tasks upon a failure of the primary event manager. To be prepared for a failure of the primary event manager, the standby event manager receives state data and copies of events. After determining that the primary event manager has failed, the standby event manager can begin processing events.

The method also includes determining, using a processor, a priority score for each of the plurality of entities in the network based on the device information and the traffic information. The method additionally includes determining a polling frequency for each of the plurality of entities based on each priority score, wherein the polling frequency for a first entity having a first priority score is greater than the polling frequency for a second entity having a second priority score that is lower than the first priority score.
