  • Patent number: 4737105
Abstract: Apparatus and method of mounting at least one false tooth in a vacant space between two good teeth. First and second right angled plates pre-manufactured to be mounted in slots in the top and one upper sidewall of each good tooth facing the vacant space. The plates have indentations or extensions to receive a post for the replacement tooth, teeth or bridge.

  • Patent number: 4714905
Abstract: A microwave bandpass filter for frequencies in the range of 30-3000 MHz comprises a substrate formed from dielectric ceramic sheets fused together and stacked according to a dielectric constant required of the filter capacitors, the plates of which are formed on the substrate. Discrete air core coils, to provide greater frequency selectivity in this particular frequency range, are attached into the circuit on a top surface of the substrate, and a drawn metal can covers the circuitry on the top surface and is soldered to a metallized coating extending over substantially all of the rest of the substrate except for surface mounting lead portions and associated conductive paths. Thus, EMI and RFI shielding is provided by the combination of the metal can and the ground plane of the circuit.

  • Patent number: 4568285
Abstract: Mastication force dampening dental implant has a cylindrical casing adapted to be implanted in a jawbone. A resilient insert is mounted in the casing and has a first shaftway. A nut is anchored in the insert coaxially with the first shaftway. A threaded shaft is mounted in the first shaftway, the shaft being threaded into the nut. The shaft has a second shaftway in its top portion. A head is fixedly connected to the first shaft at the top of the casing. A tooth or denture retention post is mounted on the head. The retention post is removably mounted in the top of the second shaftway.

  • Patent number: 4133110
Abstract: One form of artificial modular denture, and the method of producing same, includes an assembly of hard prosthetic teeth permanently secured to a U-shaped hard base structure with a terminus of the hard base structure disposed a short distance rearwardly of the incisor areas of the assembly of the prosthetic teeth, with a palatal vault member adapted to substantially conform with the palatal vault area of the patient's mouth being fitted with the artificial denture. The palatal vault member being selected from a set of palatal vault members having differently contoured configurations, and retaining means is provided for individually releasably connecting the palatal vault members to the assembly so as to permit the selection of the most suitably fitting one of the set of palatal vault members for use as part of the artificial denture.
