  • Patent number: 6980108
Abstract: There is provided an electronic security system for a perimeter structure that incorporates a fiber optic cable secured to the perimeter structure. Typically the perimeter structure is a fence. A light pulse is transmitted down the fiber optic cable. Mechanical attenuation devices disposed at various locations along the fiber optic cable are responsive to intrusion attempts. The mechanical attenuation devices produce measurable attenuations to the light pulse. Using backscattering light detection technology an intrusion attempt and the location of an intrusion is detected.

  • Patent number: 4222293
Abstract: A bi-directional wrench (2) capable of ratchet type action is disclosed for turning a member (6) with equally spaced peripheral recesses in either direction without reversing the position of the wrench. The wrench includes one or more teeth (14) and a pair of supports (19,20) on either side of and spaced from the teeth of the wrench for engaging the member. The supports (19,20) and the tooth or teeth (14) of the wrench are configured to permit radial disengagement of the teeth (14) from the recesses of the member (6). In a preferred form, complete removal of the wrench from the member is prevented by the shape of the wrench to enable a true ratchet type action.

  • Patent number: 4198174
Abstract: A telescopic load binder (1) with a tubular barrel (2) and a pair of oppositely threaded members (7,8) threaded into the opposite ends of the barrel and method of assembling same. When assembled, the load binder is designed to prevent subsequent inadvertent disassembly and includes means (13,14) placed on the threads of the members to prevent their removal from the barrel without breaching the barrel itself. A threaded cylindrical insert (12) is inserted into the barrel at one end and enables and facilitates load binder assembly.

  • Patent number: 3965791
Abstract: A molded plastic mounting base is provided for stop tablets on an organ or the like. Pivot shoulders are integrally molded on the mounting plate. Each stop tablet has complementary pivot recesses integrally molded therein. A single blade-type spring snapped on to depending structure on each stop tablet simultaneously operates as a retaining means for a respective stop tablet and as an overcenter biasing spring therefor.

  • Patent number: 3941023
Abstract: A chord button assembly for use in electronical organs is formed as a unitary assembly. A plastic hinge strip extending the length of the chord selector button area is provided and a plurality of keys or arms extend from the strip and have selector buttons formed at or near terminating ends of the arms in a staggered pattern to extend through openings formed in the chord selector plate. The arms are provided with return spring and electrical contact element receiving recesses which are strategically located to allow selection of multiple chord operation by actuation of a single chord button.
