  • Publication number: 20250201463
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for diverting transformer fluid within a transformer station. One such diverter device comprises a horizontal bottom surface for collecting transformer fluid; a bottom-sloped surface joined to the horizontal bottom surface, wherein the bottom-sloped surface slopes at an angle relative to the horizontal bottom surface; a back sidewall, a first sidewall, and a second sidewall, each of which border the horizontal bottom surface to aid in collecting the transformer fluid; a first sloped-sidewall and a second sloped-sidewall that border opposing sides of the bottom-sloped surface to aid in guiding the transformer fluid down the bottom-sloped surface; and a plurality of magnetic mount structures that are affixed or embedded in the first sidewall and the first sloped-sidewall.

  • Patent number: 12042079
Abstract: A thermally sensitive control for controlling a power supply circuit to a heater in a liquid heating appliance is provided. The control includes a cordless connector part arranged to mate with a base connector part, first and second moveable electrical contacts mounted on first and second moveable members, and first and second thermally sensitive actuators. The control further includes a latch arm extending across the control between the moveable members, the latch arm including a first latch for the first moveable member and a second latch for the second moveable member, and a release member including a release part and a plunger, wherein the release member is resiliently biased to bring the release part into contact with the latch arm but the resilient bias is overcome when the plunger bears against a surface of the base connector part.

  • Publication number: 20050102106
Abstract: The condition and ability of an animal to perform to its best ability may be determined by correlating gene expression with clinical and other data. The methods include collecting biological samples and clinical history, generating digital results on gene expression levels in the samples, remotely accessing and comparing the results with information via a communications network. The invention provides methods for assessing a performance animal's condition by determining relative abundance of a target nucleic acid, accessing a remote database, correlating digital signals with information in the database, and reporting the condition of the animal. A diagnostic system comprising a microarray, a microarray reader, a database for storing information from the reader, and a server receiving digital signals from the reader is also disclosed. The reader determines the abundance of target nucleic acid, normalised to a reference nucleic acid, and generates a digital signal that may be displayed as a report.

  • Patent number: 5545523
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel compositions comprising Bovine Herpesvirus-1 (BHV-1) specific oligonucleotides which are useful as nested primers to amplify sequences of the BHV-1 gIV gene during enzymatic nucleic acid amplification. The invention also provides a method for the detection of BHV-1 which may be present in a clinical specimen, particularly bovine semen, using the BHV-1 specific nested primers and enzymatic nucleic acid amplification. The present invention also relates to a BHV-1 specific oligonucleotide which can be used as a probe to facilitate detection of amplified products derived from BHV-1 gIV gene sequences.
