  • Patent number: 9367456
Abstract: An integrated circuit including a cache and first and second modules. The cache is folded a predetermined number of times. The cache includes arrays and storage elements. Each of the arrays includes respective ones of the storage elements. The arrays store a cache line. The cache line includes segments of data. The segments of data are stored in two or more of the arrays. Each of the segments of data is stored in a corresponding one of the storage elements. The first module receives a first identifier of one of the segments of data and a second identifier of a set of the storage elements. The first module determines an index based on the first and second identifiers. The second module, based on the index, accesses one of the segments of data from the two or more of the arrays and outputs the one of the segments of data.

  • Patent number: 9086976
Abstract: A system and method of tracking multiple non-identification tagged requests in a system with multiple responders are disclosed. In one embodiment, an electronic memory system comprises a memory configured to implement a plurality of response queues, wherein one response queue is associated with one responder from a plurality of responders, and wherein a responder is a device capable of resolving the memory request. A tracking module is configured to assign identification information to a memory request that is received and store the identification information in one or more queues of the plurality of response queues; and to transmit the memory request to each responder that is associated with the one or more queues. A response module is configured to associate the identification information in the one or more queues with a response upon receiving the response from the one or more responders.

  • Publication number: 20120025111
Abstract: This invention relates to the field of an electromagnetic (EM) field absorbing composition, in particular, those capable of providing absorbance in the frequency of commercial radar. The composition finds particular use as a radar absorbing coating for wind turbines, in particular for use in onshore and offshore environments. There are further provided coated surfaces comprising the composition, methods of absorbing EM radiation, and methods of use of such a composition, such that a surface coated in the composition is capable of absorbing EM radiation. There is provided an electromagnetic radiation absorbing composition comprising elongate carbon elements with an average longest dimension in the range of 50 to 1 000 microns, with a thickness in the range of 1 to 15 microns and present in the range of from 0.5 to 20 volume % dried, in a non conductive binder.

  • Publication number: 20030035941
Abstract: A foamed rubber having a plurality of microvoids comprising mticrospheres incorporated therein characterized in that the microspheres are expanded during heating and vulcanization of the rubber and the volume fraction of the expanded microspheres is 35-80 % in the foamed rubber. The microspheres may be thermoplastic microspheres filled with a volatile liquid. The microspheres may have an unexpanded diameter of 5 to 10 &mgr;m and an expanded di ameter of between 300 &mgr;m and 1000 &mgr;m. Also disclosed is a method of manufacture of a rubber comprising the steps of. providing a rubber; incorporating additives; adding and mixing microspheres into the rubber composition; and heating the rubber to effect vulcanization. The vulcanization of the rubber may be delayed to allow for expansion of expandable microspheres during heating, such a delay may be achieved by adding a delayed action accelerator or a retarder to the rubber.

  • Patent number: 6496574
Abstract: A reset device resets an electronic device by monitoring a telephone line. The reset device detects a first ring signal transmitted via the telephone line and starts a timer. The ring signals transmitted via the telephone line are counted and compared to a preselected number. When the number of ring signals counted by the reset device is equal to the preselected number, a signal is transmitted to the electronic device causing it to reset.

  • Publication number: 20020184736
Abstract: A door opening apparatus comprises an elongated rod joined pivotally, at one end to a U-shaped bracket, which, in turn, is joined pivotally to a mounting plate fixed to the surface of a door. The elongated rod normally hangs downwardly when not in use, but through its enablement for arcuate swivel movement within a U-shaped bracket, the rod may be pivoted over a 180 angular degrees of motion and rotated over a 360 angular degrees of motion. This permits the rod to be used to pull the door open and to one side of a wheel chair bound individual to facilitate moving through the doorway.
