  • Patent number: 8616245
Abstract: Pipe useful for downhole and transport of hydrocarbon fuel such as oil and/or natural gas is provided that has a non-stick coating adhered to the pipe interior surface, said coating being at least about 50 ?m thick and comprising at least two layers constituting an inner layer and an outer layer adhered to one another, each said layers containing polymer binder and fluoropolymer and being at least about 15 ?m thick, the weight proportion of said polymer binder to said fluoropolymer in said inner layer and in said outer layer but being effective to maintain adhesion between said layers during pressurization and decompression upon said non-stick coating being exposed to the Autoclave Test and the proportion of said fluoropolymer in said inner layer and said outer layer being effective to protect said interior surface during exposure of said non-stick coating to the Acid Soak Test.

  • Publication number: 20020114924
Abstract: A decorative architectural panel comprises a substrate, a base layer of fluoropolymer film adhered to the substrate and at least one discontinuous top layer of preformed fluoropolymer film that forms a decorative, textured surface. The fluoropolymer surfacing film protects the substrate while providing decorative features. Steel panels in accordance with the invention, resembling traditional asphalt construction materials, are especially useful for residential roofing.

  • Publication number: 20020017516
Abstract: The invention provides an electrically heated cooking device having an electrically heated surface for cooking or heating food and a disposable insert of metal foil substrate coated with a nonstick polymer resin. The insert is replaceably affixed to the electrically heated surface so that the nonstick polymer coating on the metal foil substrate is in intimate contact with food being cooked or heated. The invention further provides a method for cooking a meat patty using the cooking device to produce a product with aesthetic appeal and desirable taste in an economic system.
