    Abstract: A remotely activated swivel base for use with a television set and the like is set forth wherein the base is remotely actuated by an infra-red transmitter to one of a first and second infra-red receiver to provide for rotative and vertical adjustment of the base relative to a support. Additionally, padded corner mounts are provided for securement of a television relative to the base wherein a plurality of brackets are associated with each corner support for vertical and dimensional adjustment of the television receiving unit relative to the base.
